Veteran UK UFO Researcher David Cayton.

Lost count of how many times his research links have been taken down but for folks who don't know him, David Cayton is a veteran UFO researcher from Northern England and has conducted a lot of great 'boots on the ground' investigations into various UFO cases and animal injuries.

After leaving the Design and Engineering labs at British Aerospace, David worked for many years alongside policeman Tony Dodd investigating UFO incidents for 'Quest International' and in the new interview below he describes some truly unusual UK UFO reports - also one in which separate radar stations tracked an unknown object travelling huge speeds (and making sharp turns, immediate stops etc.) over Cyprus in 1958.

David was head of Non-Destructive Testing, Design Engineering Labs at British Aerospace, Woodford 1966 -1993. Previous to that he served for 10 years as an RAF photographer. Cyprus 1957 -60 and 80PR Squadron, Bruggen, Germany and other U.K. Postings.

Don't know how long the vids will be up but David also describes other cases below including a huge UFO being witnessed by five engineers over Padiham Power station in Lancashire and a family witnessing a very strange object emitting light beams over Jodrell Bank radio telescope in 1996.

As already mentioned, David also conducted a lot of research into UK animal 'injuries' and the film below documents his work with the Animal Pathology Field Unit (APFU) alongside Phil Hoyle and Mike Freebury.

Great thread karl, i watched David on pauls show and he is always worth listening to, I had seen the Richard d hall videos with him some years ago, all very interesting stuff one of the good old school researchers.

Thanks Wobbs and couldn't agree more about the work of Cayton (and the APFU) - don't know if you've seen it but Richard D. Hall goes into more detail below about their investigations and the findings of Pathologist Professor Tony Freemont.

Thought there were some important points raised about aspects of animal injury like 'steamed clean' jaw strips, cleanly excised tongues, ventral neck puncture wounds and small teardrop shaped abdominal holes through which inner organs are removed - also looks like many different animal types and countries are involved.

Regarding the UK, also thought some important points were raised about the government cover-up aspect by institutions such as DEFRA and MI5 (DI55 probably also plays a role).

Well, here's a pretty crazy report.

January 4th, 1992 - Saga Prefecture, Japan.

Late at night a farmer that had experienced strange cattle mutilations in the past was awakened by the sound of his dog barking. The farmer went to investigate and upon entering the cow shed saw a small white ‘object’ resembling a jellyfish with numerous tentacle-like protrusions coming out of its bottom. The ‘object’ was floating in the air; it then drifted outside where it vanished. A cow was discovered on the floor. It had a badly broken leg.

UFO sightings, cattle mutes and dead flies - Elsberry, Missouri, 1978.

Claims of dead cattle and burned circles in the ground:

The burned circles were approximately 30 feet across and had a dead cow in the center. All the flesh was burned from the cow, but no blood was on the ground or apparently in the cow. Some of the cows had neat, clean burned out cavities in the abdomen about a foot in diameter, and a foot or so deep.
