Who knows it might be an entry-level type training exercise, for undercover agents. FWIW I don't have a problem with that either, it's probably needed, it's the world we live in.

Just like the undercover cops always getting spotted in the bad neighborhoods though

... but back in the day, some Federal departments did some fantastic and well-needed operations.

We don't hear the success stories till years later usually, but when they mess up it's front-page news immediately. One thing I try and remember just because these departments are having issues here and there doesn't mean there aren't high-character high integrity persons doing the grunt work.

Originally, this group was called Vanguard America and they were responsible for the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville in 2017. They are 100% neo-Nazi white supremacists.

After the death of an anti-racist protester in Charlottesville, they caught a lot of flak and renamed the group Patriot Front. From that point on they went from state to state, generally acting like idiots. They had informants in the group that helped prevent a big violent event they had planned in Idaho, and the whole group got arrested at that point.

Most of those photos of them together and getting arrested are from Idaho.
