U.S. President Donald Trump claimed his predecessor, or unidentified political opponents, "spied on our campaign illegally" numerous times.
False FALSE FALSE!!!
No evidence showed Obama, or any member of the White House, directed counterintelligence agents to illegally monitor the Trump campaign, nor did any court record show that former president Obama breached his authority as president during the FBI's Russia investigation.
A newly released set of texts between an FBI lawyer revealed that Obama was keeping tabs on the agency’s investigation into the Clinton email scandal.
A new report released Wednesday by a prominent Republican senator suggests texts between an FBI lawyer and an agent who was once part of Robert Mueller's special counsel team show that then-President Barack Obama was keeping tabs on the agency's investigation into the Hillary Clinton email scandal.
The report, by the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., focuses on the FBI's Investigation into the scandal and includes 384 pages of texts between Peter Strzok, one of the top FBI agents who was assigned to the Mueller investigation, and Lisa Page, an FBI lawyer.
Johnson suggests in the report that one particular set of texts between Strzok and Page — who were romantically involved — revealed that the two had been tasked with preparing talking points for then-FBI Director James Comey because Obama apparently wanted to be kept abreast of the case.

Former Attorney General William Barr called the FBI's investigation into former President Donald Trump "one of the greatest injustices" done toward a president.
In an appearance on Fox News on Tuesday, Barr offered defense and praise of his former boss, arguing that the investigation into Trump's alleged ties to the Russian government was an almost unparalleled injustice, and that special counsel John Durham's investigation has fully cleared Trump of all wrongdoing.

In my opinion, if we don't have the balls to take this corruption head on right now and we didn't have the balls to take it on way back when then that means we are ball-less. We're neutered. We can wait for the next election and the next thing and the next thing and hope and pray and keep our fingers crossed for a brighter day but guess what. That's exactly what they're expecting us to do. So far, that strategy has only worked in their favor. Not ours.

Wrong, there is nothing in the cited article that claimed Obama ordered the investigation. Yes, he was briefed, and aware of what the HRC campaign was doing, but nothing tying Obama to ordering the investigation. Why lie about this in the thread's title? This investigation by Durham lasted much longer than the Mueller investigation, and resulted in no successful trial results; the two cases made resulted in unanimous not guilty verdicts.
As far as the claims that Durham made, they need to be considered partisan as well, so claiming that Democrats lied over this matter is to be taken with a boulder of salt. Durham still hasn't explained why he and Barr went to Italy to pursue this investigation or provide the cost of that trip. Durham has ruined his reputation over this "investigation", which came up with next to nothing, besides some FBI reforms.

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper revealed in an interview last week that if not for President Obama asking for an intelligence community assessment that "set off a whole sequence of events" we would not have the Mueller investigation.
Clapper, a CNN contributor, said the effects of that intel assessment "are still unfolding today."
"One point I'd like to make, Anderson, that I don't think has come up very much before, and I'm alluding now to the President's criticism of President Obama for all that he did or didn't do before he left office with respect to the Russian meddling.
If it weren't for President Obama, we might not have done the intelligence community assessment that we did that set off a whole sequence of events which are still unfolding today, notably, special counsel Mueller's investigation," Clapper said Wednesday on CNN.

The really big story now coming into better focus, is that Barack Obama approved Hillary's plan by ordering his CIA and FBI to begin damaging candidate Donald Trump!

You just knew it was a total scam when even Van Jones said it was a "nothing burger", that's how bad it was.
Of coarse he said off air, when he thought nobody was recording.
As much as Trump might be a goof at times, he is the most persecuted President in the history of America.
