FBI agents raid condo unit owned by Russians at Trump Towers in Sunny Isles

The trio of Trump Towers on Sunny Isles Beach draws its share of gawkers, thanks to Donald Trump’s licensing deal that plastered his name on the oceanfront development.

But on Thursday, the luxury high-rise complex drew the attention of law enforcement, namely the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

A squad of FBI special agents, assisted by local police, descended on Trump Tower III at 15811 Collins Ave. to carry out a search of unit 4102. It’s owned by a shell company, MIC-USA LLC, that is controlled by two Russian businessmen, Oleg Sergeyevich Patsulya and Agunda Konstantinovna Makeeva, according to state corporation records.

There is no more information on this that I can find and the authorities will not speak about an ongoing instigation, of course.

Is it espionage? Is it just the typical Russian organized crime? Was Trump warned ahead of time that these people were posted in his towers? Did he approve of the raid; did he not?

The area of Sunny Isles Beach is known for the many Russians living there, it would not be crazy for them to organize for local crimes, but the combined FBI/local task force would indicate something bigger. The Russian community in Florida will most definitely see this as political persecution.

Sunny Isles Beach has been dubbed “LIttle Moscow” by locals because it’s home to many Russian expatriates. Some expressed concerns about a backlash against their affluent beachfront community after the Russian military invaded Ukraine last year and the U.S. government started pursuing sanctions against oligarchs who hide their wealth in real estate in South Florida and other parts of the country.

Could it be as simple as helping sanctioned figures hide their wealth?

This is HUGE! The drool is turning to froth on the lips of the 'We've got him now!' crowd!

Let's just skip the multi-million dollar investigations and pronounce him guilty already! We already know he's guilty of it-whatever 'it' is, and if he didn't do it I'm sure he would at some future point.

We can't let him run in 2024! Our country depends on keeping him out of the Oval Office!

This is like the clowns that didn't understand that it wasn't literally Trump scamming them with crypto NFTs with his picture on them. Totally oblivious braying about orange man. Not a single bit of information that a rational person might confuse for evidence Trump was in any way involved.

Im thinking he lost money on the value of his name. Before he ran for POTUS, his name was worth more, like 'jet set tycoon'. Now he is hated by half the country, so stronger negative associations have left their mark on his name.

Can't believe you would even ask if Trump OK'd any FBI current investigation. He simply has no authority to permit or not permit the FBI to do anything.

Trump certainly isn't any kind of angel, never has been, but he can't be blamed for everything under the sun either.

North Miami Beach along with that area and Aventura have a very large community of Russians living there. Probably someone running some sort of scam. Which isn't uncommon for Florida.
