What is the opposite of diversity as far as their singular definition? Yessir, it is UNITY.

So this is what they have been selling to us from grade 1-12 in the USA. Probably the same in most Western European countries.

So if diversity is so great why do they spend so much time and effort selling it as some sort of best case for humanity in order to set up a better and fairer world? Why are BILLIONS spent by our government and basically every large corporation?

I just realized it is like everything else the left sells. It is backwards and upside down and will never work. If it was so great, then why wouldn't people just naturally set up their communities that way? If we are all the same in our differences then why in the world are there any ethnic neighborhoods? In NYC, widely considered the most "diverse" city in the world, why are there black neighborhoods? Puerto Rican neighborhoods? Chinese neighborhoods? Same with Chicago or LA or heck, even London and Paris. Why do humans tend to separate themselves culturally without even really thnking about it? What is so diverse about all these different neighborhoods? Sure, every neighborhood will have its token "foreigner", but that is an outlyer and not really anything that matters.

Here is another oops... I bet if you look at the numbers, people are more "diverse" in suburban areas (which we all know that leftists hate for a multitude of reasons). Why would that be? Why do I have a higher percentage of blacks in my neck of the woods than say certain WASPish urban areas of say NYC. Do they gentrify and get the values of their homes so high so they don't have to do as they say? Well of course they do.

This along with just about any other dogma the modern left has everything upside down and they have to lie about everything they think to get others to buy into the garbage they are selling.

In the old days they would realize that people that lie about everything are influenced by evil. Of course to a leftist, evil is subjective and a construct. I know one thing for sure, the derision and division they are causing with diversity, equity, and so on will have us all literally at eachothers throats in a small matter of time. Say goodbye to your steak dinners and fun nights out and say hello to noodles and hiding out most of your life.

Spot on!

It is human nature to be tribal and group together. That can be as simple as ethnicity or a shared ideology-especially political.

Are TPTB afraid that all of the sub groups could someday untie in a shared distrust of the path our 'dear leaders' have us on, thus the need to break up even the 'tribes'?

Then add in such things as anti-competition regs and corporate welfare and tax loopholes and inherited wealth.

Oh! And let's not forget good old propaganda and classism.

I agree, we are losing. And losing bigly.

Will will shuffle slowly into the graves they are digging for us or fight to stay alive? THat is something I think about quite a bit. And I certainly hold no hope in the newest generation coming up.

I apologize for asking but I am not sure I get the point you are trying to make.

Also, why is diversity such a deal here but not even in play at all in China? Same with the hubub of gay and trans "rights"? You think CHina is running their world with diversity in mind? How about India? Nope, not at all. South Africa? Nope.

Clearly to me this whole idea is a creation that has the destruction of a civilization in mind. They can't compete with what we were, so they start their "march through the instutions" to make things seem good that are actually bad.

And for all the sheep going along with it, don't cry to anyone when you finally "own nothing and like it".

Hell its already practically that way (income taxes, property taxes, and so on). You only "own" something because they allow you to by having you pay a fee to have that "right".

Of course not. It's too late to make reparations to the slaves and their immediate descendants, and later descendants have received numerous benefits under the law that others have not. Reparations can only create more inequities (both real and imagined) and resentment.

In fact, troubles are already brewing. The actual descendants of slaves want reparations limited to themselves... non-descendants cite instutionalized post-civil war racism as just cause for all Black people to receive reparations.

The answer is to address the current issues and conditions that result in an unlevel playing field.

Diversity still allows for differences, individually unique qualities. Homogeneity "blends" all qualities into one, uniform "sameness".

To me, no one is more rigidly controlled than the diversity crowd. You are divided and sorted into your personal checkmark boxes, and henceforth, you must adhere to the thought patterns and beliefs of that checkmark group. To disagree or "diversify" your opinions and beliefs from that group orthodoxy is to invite the most ruthless of attack.

Look different, screw different, worship different ... but don't you ever dare *think* different.

I've written about banking issues here, trying to open some traditional IRA accounts, in order to rollover some 401k's.
We went from bank to bank, most banks were unconcerned, unwilling, or confused.
One 'financial specialist' looked at us as if we had 3 heads when we appeared for our appointment, and didn't help us at all. I started to wonder if it was because we are not the same ethnicity as him, I couldn't understand his reaction, along with some others.
In the end the only person who went out of his way to assist us turns out to be of the same ethnic background as us - can that be only coincidence? I wonder.
As an American, I am supposed to accept everyone, and that is how I was raised. Yet that is not reciprocated.

When you say 'Troubles are already brewing', you are correct.
In our neighborhood just in the last few years there is an influx of illegals, minorities, non-Americans, etc., to the point that we are being crowded right out of here. And we grew up in this town, but it is no longer ours.
Houses are being put up for sale and people are moving out, I hear grumblings of resentment towards the waves of newcomers, who are not working or supporting themselves, but move around in our neighborhood feeling very privileged. Their children are overburdening our schools and demanding free school lunches, and now demanding free breakfasts as well, and all their demands are met.
I find myself waiting for the tipping point, when working Americans will finally have had enough.
Fine to be diverse, but why shouldn't everyone have to work to support their families, not just some.

I get it. More and more projected classes. And privileged classes. And exempt classes. Everyone wants to be special in a special class. But that just doesn't work.

We need to make sure everyone has what they need to be responsible, self-sufficient, independent members of society who can make a living for themselves and their families. And be left alone by government to do so.

When everyone who can take care of themselves are taking care of themselves, we can easily find ways to take care of those who genuinely cannot.

But we -- as a nation and a society -- need new priorities and new answers. And especially new political leaders!

When dealing with new narratives, programs, regulations, or anything else from the government, skip past the cause, whatever new program or narrative, etc., and see what effect it will have. There you will find your motive.
