Mixed feelings about this one.
I don't think it is right for parents to be sending their kid to school in a t-shirt that is only designed to provoke a reaction.
He has his free speech for sure, but how you use it should also be considered IMO.
Frankly , kids should be in school uniform and be seen, taught but not heard.
They need order and discipline.
Don't know why this kid was even allowed to address the school board, FFS.
I totally agree with this. For a part of my kids education they went to school uniform schools. We all loved it!
It takes a lot of the stress away from both the parents and kids.
I wish all schools went to that model.

Interesting, all of a sudden, who thinks political speech is dangerous?
The kid and his family should sue.
The boy’s civil rights were clearly violated.

A campaign supporting free speech?
That is genius!
You think people will get behind free speech?

I think that your be a WONDERFUL first step in a campaign for free speech.
Johnny come latelys at this late date throwing the kid out seems unfair.

Always good to use a child as a political tool.
You know this is his own personal thinking. Not influenced at all.
But Hey! Leave the children alone. They're just kids.
Ummm...WOW...your post is the essence...the epitome...the very definition of cognitive dissonance...
You do realize that that's exactly whats being displayed by the teachers...the bullies...and the entirety of the alphabet soup crowd...right...?
Political tool...check...
Influenced...check...
Using children to further agenda...check...
The only salient point in your entire post is...
They're just kids.
So why are we allowing school boards...teachers...and the alphabet soup crowd to prey on the immature emotional and cognitive state of...children...?
