As happy as I am to see state legislatures taking steps to protect women's sports, I've been thinking about the piecemeal way they are going about it, and I'm wondering if maybe it wouldn't be more effective to address the legal definition of "woman/girl", which would have the effect of protecting ALL the rights of female persons -- sports, single-sex spaces, harassment, rewards/awards, etc.
A simple declaratory bill designating that "woman/girl" is defined as and inclusive to ONLY females would address all the known issues as well as future yet-unknown issues.
