A desperate move by somebody fighting for survival vs a longstanding tradition of being stupid and lying about everything is also not the same.
Add: it's also Russia, if you ever watch Russian TV which is telling the world they're already in a war with the 'Satanic West'. But you apologists have apparently huge difficulties grasping that.
The real irony is that you blame Ukraine and NATO for a fictional fact created by Russia.
The only difference is Zelensky did it deliberately.

Yes, totally the same thing.
Okay. Thanks for letting me know how little value your opinions have.
Feelings mutual.
I guess the only thing surprising about it is they didn't blame it on Ukraine.
This is what Ukraine did to Russia, sorry you missed the irony
Holy cow,I actullally agree with you for like the first time ever!

Good thing they aren't NATO so article 5 in not a thing they can do.
But Poland can and thank God they have brains and waited for all the evidence to be examined.
That was a low day for Ukraine man.

Then that proves that Russia is a threat to no one but itself
No risk of ever being capable of invading Europe.

Oh so you are telling me it was Ukraine that fired a missile into Poland now?

You mean to miss the mark with an autonomous air defense missile is somehow comparable to a jet bombing the own city?
Okay.
Just like it's the same if I throw a ball into your bathroom window and me parking my car in your kitchen, right? Totally the same thing...
But but Russia did it,to quote you a few months back.

Stop hitting yourself
The defence ministry in Moscow says a Russian fighter jet accidentally bombed the city of Belgorod near the border with Ukraine.
Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said the blast had left a huge crater about 20 metres (60 ft) wide in the city centre.
Two women were injured and several buildings were damaged, he said.
A Su-34 fighter-bomber jet accidentally discharged aircraft ordnance, the ministry said.

Who'd have thought Russia is this incompetent under Putin? We were all kind of afraid of its military now it looks like the only thing they're really good at is 'slapstick warfare'

You talked about Europe, my answer was about Europe.
If you can't seperate that from EU or NATO that's entirely your problem.

Poland bombed itself? Ukraine isn't a NATO member.
Article 4 was mentioned at the time by governments that actually matter when it comes to NATO, that didn't happen either.
Either way SAM defences wouldn't be operational if Russia wasn't actively attacking Ukraine, they targeted areas near the Ukrainian/Polish border. Russia admitted this and there's obvious evidence of strikes.
Ukraine has the patriot system now so this has even less chance of happening again, assuming it was a failed interception in the first place... Feel free to speculate on that, unless you've got evidence to suggest otherwise?
