I was looking at the internet the other daaaaay. Was shortly after reading this delightful thread. I found this interesting, pertaining to XX, XY, and known deviations.

If you have only X's, you are genetically woman.

If you have a Y, you are genetically a male.

It is binary. The variations are different genetic kinds of males and females, not new or different sexes.

Like having Trisomy 21 (Down's syndrome)... or any other abnormality, does not make one a different species. Still a human, just with irregular genetics.

Example: A person with Klinefelter's (XXY) is not a different sex than male or female. The XX doesn't make him a female. The Y makes him a male with abnormal sex chromosomes. He's not getting pregnant, just like any other genetic male is not getting pregnant.

To get pregnant, you need the female/women's reproductive parts. Putting aside the very, very rare state of intersex, where a person may have both male and female reproductive organs, it's just not possible.

Note that - Two gay men getting a surrogate mother to produce a child, does not equate to one of the men "giving birth", contrary to the belief of some people.

You need to have a look at my first ever thread in the topic called: What is a woman?

The title is inspired by Matt Walsh's documentary that has the same title but I am making a different analysis based on the chromosomal make up of an individual.

Sex is determined by the Y chromosome and nothing else.

There are disorders of sex development but that doesn't change the fact there are only two sexes.

X for example is called Turner's syndrome
XXY Klinefelter syndrome
XXX is called trisomy
XYY Jacobs syndrome

Note that in all cases and even though there are more chromosomes than usual or just one sex chromosome in the first case, it's the Y chromosome that tells you the sex of the person. If it's there it's a male of it's not is a female.

Some idiotic activists have taken these syndromes trying to argue there are more sexes or genders but they have made a fool of themselves given their lack of understanding of the most basics. There is another sex development disorder called intersex that has attracted their attention and it's hilarious when you see them arguing about transgenderism on the basis of rare sex development disorders.

Intersex is a very serious condition usually coming with the price of being infertile and other serious symptoms. True intersex doesn't exist as there are no mammal hermaphrodites but it's a polite term used by activists primarily and then adopted by the scientific community for those who are biologically male or female but have a mixture of characteristics.

For example the XX, 46 Intersex is a biological female however sometimes part of the Y chromosome attached to one of the X chromosomes through translocation i.e the breaking up of the Y chromosome, the SRY gene as it is known causing male phenotype. It's very rare and is called the De La Chapelle Syndrome.

Most cases of XX hermaphrodites are ones where the individual has mixed characteristics where ovaries are there but also external male genitalia. But it may not be formed completely or the person is in most cases infertile.

Intersex is a serious condition often confused by activists as a third sex and it's becoming absurd when they try to argue about transgenderism on the basis of sex development disorders. They don't even understand the basics, let along trying to equate trans people with intersex.
