Very common pesticide , widely used, is everywhere ....induces feminization to some . ATRAZINE .

Biologist targeted for exposing the gender bending pesticide - Atrazine - poisoning America

A Common Herbicide Turns Some Male Frogs into Females

Pesticide action network

Houston ,we have problem .

Atrazine Is an Endocrine Disruptor

One of atrazine’s scariest effects is that it is an endocrine disruptor. These are chemicals foreign to the human body that, after a certain level of exposure, disrupt our endocrine — also known as hormonal — systems. Endocrine disruptions can cause adverse developmental, reproductive, neurological and immune effects in people and wildlife.

This occurs because the endocrine system includes hormone-secreting glands and is in charge of regulating blood sugar, our reproductive systems, metabolism, brain function and the nervous system. Our bodies are kept in check with a delicate balance. When one hormone goes out of whack, it can have serious ripple effects throughout the body. (7)

When it comes to atrazine, its endocrine disruption abilities are frightening. A 2011 study published in The Journal of Steroid Biochemistry and Molecular Biology summarized a huge swath of research on atrazine, dating back to 1997. The study alone features 22 authors from around the globe. (8)

The study confirmed what researchers have been saying for years: atrazine “demasculinizes” and “feminizes” vertebrate male gonads. In other words, atrazine is a “decrease in male gonadal characteristics,” because the herbicide shrinks testicles and reduces sperm counts. By “feminizing” male gonads, atrazine can lead to the growth of ovaries in males.

Frogs turning from males into females means they can now mate with male frogs. But since the female frogs are still genetically male, their offspring are all male. This leads to a major skewing of the sex ratios in a population, which leads to a decrease or even an elimination of the population. (9)

Atrazine: the Most Common Toxic Contaminant in Our Water

Sounds like it would be bat# crazy to have that stuff in water and food supply right ? It`s by design i think....they want their freak show happen.

Lol, did you went and sprayed your entrance with roundup after you made that thread... These concerns are cute especially when the problem has been around for more that 30 years and you start to worry about chemicals in agriculture now...

It's more interesting that they talk about hormone disruption and how delicate the balance is, but we think we can adequately cover all that with pills and injections.

No wonder transition suicide rate is 41%

Yeeh hmm .. i recently read the side effects of gender change drug, i think it was testosterone , it listed few bad side effects like agressive behavior, suicidal behavior.....yet that`s the drug they give to person who wants to change her female state to male ( wanting , not same as really changing as female is female still ).. really mad to let people go with that route .

A couple of things about this article sounds totally off and bogus to me.

First, I can understand how a chemical can shrink testicles and lower sperm counts, but GROWING ovaries is a whole different ballgame. Especially when this article leads you to believe that it happens after the developmental and birthing process. Hormone shots themselves, can't even do that.

Second, this article is also trying to say that two biological male frogs are capable of producing offspring, but they only produce males??!! They admit that even a male turned female frog is still biologically a male, so WTH?

This sounds like a desperate attempt for more government research money...let's see if we can tie pesticides to a transgender issue. Unfortunately, I don't think they formed a believable theory there.

The use of Atrazine was banned in Europe over 20yrs ago now.

I’m surprised not surprised that it’s still widely used in the USA.

Pretty sure they call that "juicing", and men who are caught doing it are disqualified from mens sports... while women who take it are encouraged in mens sports, and men who produce it naturally are allowed in womens sports.

Spraying this garbage on the crops and injecting it into the livestock for a few generatons has certainly shown no ill effects!

Chemical warefare with gender bending chemicals has been waged since the 1960s.

Yeeh i know, this is not new phenomenon to me per se, i just didn`t quite catch what exactly are the chemicals ,Atrazine is not probably the only one used.

Still last 10 years or so...the change is visible , by statistics and by reading just daily news.

Brazil is another country , and i know they use crazy amounts of pesticides there, some that are banned in Europe .

If you look at the diseases that have their risk factor increased by Atrosine and the increase in those diseases, it is relevant to state that it may have contributed to the progression of those diseases over those last thirty years.

It is an endocrine disruptor which blocks human growth horman proper utilization and contribute to many endocrine problems which include cancers and also it can effect diabetic risk increases.

The body can detox ocassional small amounts of this but chronic exposure of even a small amounts can lead to increased disease risk over long periods of time. Couple this with other endocrine disruptors in the food supply, both natural and from unnatural sources, and it is going to have an effect, the increase in all these diseases has been around for that thirty years it has been used. It is not just plastic chemistry alone that is causing our problems, it is a combination of multiple factors.

It also does have a feminizing effect on people, but I consider that a less threat than the risk of increased other health problems. Even coffee has some effect that makes guys less testosterone driven. Add everything together to identify problems with health....this is the second most used chemical for this kind of purpose used in the USA at this time from what I have read, so the thread is relevant.

Actually, it turned the male frogs into female frogs....no expensive operations or drugs needed to turn them transgender.

Coffee ???

I love coffee . could the reason be the pesticide / agro chemicals and not coffee itself ? i read normal non-organic coffee can contain a lot toxic chemicals from pesticides ..that`s why i buy only organic coffee, which is not 100% safe either but more clean than non-organic .
