BREAKING: Swimming Champion Riley Gaines Assaulted by Trans Activists at San Francisco University

Record-setting swimmer Riley Gaines, an outspoken critic of transgender athletes being permitted to compete in divisions they self-identify with, was violently assaulted at San Francisco State University following a speech on Thursday.

Turning Point USA and Leadership Institute invited Gaines to speak at an event on the SFSU campus exploring women’s athletics and the inequalities that female competitors could face against transgender opponents.

Gaines, a former NCAA swimmer from the University of Kentucky, was reportedly forced to barricade herself in a room for three hours for her own safety when student protesters became violent and unruly.

“She told me she was hit multiple times by a guy in a dress. I was shaking. It made me that mad. It makes me sick to feel so helpless about it,” Gaines’s husband, Louis Barker, told Fox News. “She was under police protection and was still hit by a man wearing a dress"

Footage of the campus chaos was shared by Gaines on Twitter in the early hours of Friday morning showing trans activists berating her as security tries to escort the 12-time All-America swimmer to safety.

“The prisoners are running the asylum at SFSU…I was ambushed and physically hit twice by a man,” Gaines wrote in the tweet. “This is proof that women need sex-protected spaces. Still only further assures me I’m doing something right. When they want you silent, speak louder.”

The story has been covered extensively in the press and all major news outlets. The usual suspects thought it was a great idea to confront, threaten, and physically assault Riley Gaines who is very well known for her stance against the transgender ideology and against transwomen taking part in female sports and using women only spaces.

Riley Gaines was as one of the top swimming female athletes at NCCA. Gaines is still very young and only 23 years old but a very brave woman as well as an ex-champion in swimming. She is well known for speaking out about finding herself competing against Lia Thomas at the Women’s NCAA Swimming Championship last year. Lia Thomas is a transwoman i.e a biological male athlete who is 6'4 who has smashed most records and have won most competitions.

I cannot find any other words to say bravo to Mrs Gaines for her bravery and courage. She has what we call: Balls of steel!!!

Imagine if the roles were reversed and a group of white, conservatives ambushed someone within the LGBTQ community, physically assaulted them, and held them for ransom for 3 hrs...

There would be arrests and repercussions for the perpetrators and administration who allowed this.

Instead, the campus police and University did nothing. They were scared to assert any force and adequately do their job for fear of coming off as racist, transphobic, or anything other than an ally to the community.

The misogynist mob strikes again. Its target this time was the American swimmer Riley Gaines. What was her offence? What did this young woman do to attract the attention — and the jeers and insults and threats — of the woke witchfinder-generals? She said men should not compete in women’s sports. Obscene. She has direct experience of just how unjust it is when people who’ve been through male puberty — what we used to call ‘men’ — are allowed to hit the pool or the track alongside female athletes

Gaines is a 23-year-old champion college swimmer in the US. She has spoken movingly about finding herself competing against Lia Thomas at the Women’s NCAA Swimming Championship last year. Thomas is male. He is 6”4.

When he was plain old Will Thomas, he was ranked around the 500 mark among male college swimmers. When he became Lia, he butterflied his way to the top of the women’s rankings.

At last year’s Ivy League Women’s Championship, he broke records. He won the 500-freestyle race by a full seven seconds. In his wake — far behind the waves made by his long arms, huge hands and male muscle mass — were women who had trained their whole lives to be the best at their sport. Tough luck, girls.

Ms Gaines thinks this is immoral and unfair. And she’s right, of course. Women’s sport is being destroyed by the presence of men, she says. It is being ‘eroded by discriminatory policies that allow males who identify as women to compete on women’s teams and in women’s events’, she said in an interview with Fox News.

What has been the response to Ms Gaines’ scientifically correct observation that male bodies enjoy certain advantages over female bodies in sports that require strength and speed? To her perfectly legitimate request that only women — real women; adult human females — be allowed to compete in women’s sport?

She’s been monstered. She’s been branded a bigot. She’s been damned as a witchy transphobe. This gross and sexist intolerance of Gaines’ pro-women, pro-science beliefs reached an ugly crescendo at San Francisco State University this week.

After giving her speech on saving women’s sports, Gaines found herself surrounded by a baying mob. They screamed insults in her face. In one video you can hear them calling her a ‘f**king bitch’ and telling her to ‘go the f**k home’.

Despite all these obstacles it seems though we are heading the right direction. The recent decisions by the World Athletics, UK Athletics, FINA, World Rugby, English Rugby, English Swimming, to ban transwomen from female competitions show that common sense hasn't been lost but there needs to be a constant fight to defeat the anomaly in our space-time continuum.

There are calls for those who were involved in the woke crowd to face some justice and I am sure Riley Gaines can take them to court. They will charged in the end given the evidence that already exists and the wide coverage of the story.

The Trans movement is loving all the attention its absolutely what they must have and crave, why give it to them?

Not saying we don't address individual situations, but letting this de-evolve into chaos, fighting, and arguing is exactly the attention they seek. Thier allies in the MSM are gonna keep it on the front page

FWIW legislation and judicial are finally catching up to some of the obvious overstepping of boundaries, it's working and it's why they are lashing out. Forget writing to the newspapers and media, if it bothers you enough write and call your local and state representatives.

We are seeing what happens when the pendulum swings too far to the extreme, the system takes a while and is slow and cumbersome but it does have some self-correcting properties.

Otherwise, the best course instead of arguing is to boycott all events where trans males compete against biological females, and let them compete against what few members there are. Peacefully refuse to participate.

California is not known for holding criminals accountable. I think the best she can hope for is a positive outcome via a lawsuit.

We have mostly unhinged already mentally unstable people with dictatorish mindsets that were craddled by the media and equally unhinged politicians. They now feel so bold and secure in their cause, with all the mob mentality that now is even rewarded.

And suddenly, right now it happens, sanity comes back to women sports where these transgenders are flat out banned. Like they should have always been.

How will this culture react? Can you imagine the future self-victimizing of those people? These are mostly people that never were in a working environment, with real people. Never had to fight for themselves other than for their feelings. Now they resort to violence. I've never experienced something more crazy, hypocritic and spoiled than the transgender movement.

The mindset of that one person, who left the parental "oppressive" conservative house, to go to California to live in another active oppressive demography... 100% pure hypocrisy.

Most of these people are vile, self centered and delusionary non-achievers and they will get the bill for their behavior, one or another way. Karma can be a bitch. Hopefully, they won't become even more violent.

It's there, they just don't get any airtime or mention. Because then it would be clear to the rest of the population that transgender = anti feminine.

There's no other conclusion left when a dick carrier with bad makeup in a dress tells me and other women, we are not women, because we can not bear children (anymore or never).

This is the logic coming from that group and I lost that last 1% of understanding. They go way too far with their demands and behavior. My daddy always said "direct punch to the nose without a warning" when I was heckled in school.

I didn't. if a transgender would get into my face angry and spit at me and shove me, while screaming I am not a woman or whatever, I understand it is assault and I am in my right to punch a nose or two and some groin kicks.

In non clown world, the article would read: "Strange man in dress and makup with crazy claims, brought to ground by woman in self defense"

In current clown world it would read: "Violent birthing person attacks a real woman in definite hate crime".
