Joke about Aristotle's socioeconomic status

We all know that Aristotle was a jack of all trades in Greek society, occupying niches as a philosopher, scientist, poet, dramatist, and creator of rhetorical devices like logos, ethos, and pathos. As a matter of fact, he proposed the first system of classifying animals, grouping them according to their mode of life. However, I wanted to ask you a joke about Aristotle: where on the socioeconomic hierarchy did Aristotle belong?

Let's see....

The son of the kings physician, lost his parents as he entered puberty, basically hung around the court and that society until travelling to further his education at a prestigious and renowned school, where he hung around for well over a decade...

I would say upper class, or at the very least upper middle class.

One of Aristotle's earliest "quotable" saying was ... "to experience is to learn"
He also famously said, "The gods are too fond of a joke"
I wonder what have they learned?

Insofar as a joke... well... here's one that he delivered...

"Republics decline into democracies and democracies degenerate into despotisms."

In the second millennium, that became joke material. Can that count as one?

Not sure on this one, so I proffer a Descartes joke in lieu.

Descartes walks into a cafe and orders a coffee.
