Former Attorney General Bill Barr said Friday that he suspects Democrats are pushing the indictment of former President Trump, to help him win the 2024 Republican nomination, in the hopes that Trump's legal baggage will sink him in the general election.

"I think the impetus is really to help Trump get the nomination, focus the attention on him for two years, have this thing swirling around, plus whatever else comes, which I think will be damaging to whoever gets the nomination," Barr said Friday, at the National Review Institute Ideas Summit.

Barr generally dismissed the Trump indictment as a politically motivated event.

"We don't know exactly what's there. But judging from the news reports … it's the archetypal abuse of the prosecutorial function to engage in a political hit job," he said.

I think former Attorney General William Barr is implying Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are such weak candidates, the only way either of them could win the Presidential Election in November 2024, is if the person they face is worse off than they are.

Its a pretty simple strategy.

Believing that 81 million people voted for Biden is a hard pill to swallow.

Believing 81 million voted against Trump is.

So, any number of shady tactics can go completely unnoticed.

Everything the media is doing just martyrs Trump even more, and people do tend to favor the abused underdog.
I think we can all agree the POTUS is just a 'front man' for those who really have the power, so why the push to get Trump in office? They can't be that stupid.

Is Trump compromised? Part of the plan to get us to agenda 2030 while we all breath a sigh of relief and think Trump will save the republic>

One thing I'm convinced of: society is directed vis media and education and is planned decades in advance. Trump is either part of the plan or he wouldn't be allowed to present himself as the savior of our republic.

Barr could also be playing what he's been known to play.

Why else would a legal scholar like Barr make an assumption that (R) voters would Nominate Trump and then have too many (I) voters go for a (D) in the General election? 🧐

Today's indictment of Trump is not intended to ensure Joe Biden's re-election. Regardless of his indictment, Donald Trump's advisors could ask him to quit his 2024 bid if he collapses on stage while delivering a speech to people in Kansas.

Due to either Impeachment or Incapacitation, Joe Biden will most likely not be the Democrat sworn in on 1/20/2025, if Trump is defeated.

Barr is saying about Trump, what we've felt over the past 2 years about Biden. That anyone could beat Biden, he's such a horrible President. (Just 36% approval)

Barr believes if Trump has enough investigations going on, in addition to being arrested and impeached twice, he'll still win the Republican nomination. But most people will be "afraid" to vote for him in November 2024.

Normal people didn't think Biden would get that many votes in 2020, because nobody was turning out to his rallies and speeches. They were wrong.

NOTHING can be predicted with good accuracy, it seems.

One thing is for sure arresting those who are making poetical memes will not be helpful for the Liberals in local elections.

Yet their own side had even had done something similar by urging others to go and vote using something similar.
No one on their side got arrested for doing that.

Bragg's motives are evil, but his action have helped in both the Trump fundraising and publicity arena.

It's critical that he be put under oath, and asked about his motivation for arresting one of America's best Presidents. Bragg needs to be put through HELL, in order to deter other Satan-backed state Prosecutors from attempting to "be like Alvin".

Fanny Willis in Atlanta comes to mind. She's working hard to fabricate some weak excuse for piling on...for indicting Trump also.

Joe Biden isn't capable of winning another election. That would bring on too much suspicion.

I really think that idiot, Marc Elias, formerly with Perkins Coie is getting paid to use a whole team of people to push the envelope as far as they can on keeping Trump off of any future ballots with a felony conviction. He's already sued trying to keep two, three, maybe four Republicans off of ballots by claiming they were complicit in the "J6 insurrection".

As for Trump's money, I (and many others) have severe doubts. The man has massive loans to repay to Deutsche Bank (who are apparently unwilling to lend him a bent penny more), his Scottish golf courses are loss makers that are there I think to act as a tax write-off (or other financial skullduggery) and he appears to spend all his time fundraising.
His financial records show a signal lack of tax paying and I would love for a forensic accountant to look through everything he has and then answer the question of what are the true state of his finances. The man went bust running casinos FFS, not once but many times. Hawking Trump Steaks and Trump Vodka mean anything to you?
Oh and every account to come out of the White House during Trump's time spoke of how thick as raw mince the man is. And angry. And greedy. And vengeful.
