A BNSF train carrying hazardous material derailed.

An early morning train derailment in the small town of Raymond in west-central Minnesota started a large fire and resulted in evacuations. Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway said in a statement that about 22 cars of a train carrying ethanol and corn syrup among other things left the tracks at about 1:02 a.m.. The city is in southwest Kandiyohi County about 110 miles west of Minneapolis. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department said several cars were burning and an evacuation zone was set up with a half-mile radius around the derailment site. A shelter was set up in a nearby school and the shelter was to be moved to a church later in the day so the school could hold classes, CBS Minnesota reported, adding that some 150 people spent the night in the shelter. The Minnesota Department of Transportation also closed nearby Highway 23 due to the crash, the fire department reported. The Minnesota crash marks at least the 9th derailment over the past two months in the U.S. Most recently, on March 16, a train derailed in Washington state, spilling diesel fuel on tribal land along Puget Sound.

WTF is going on with all these train derailments?
Coincidences? I don’t know.
I live about a 1/2 mile from a train track that sees about 3 or 4 trains a day going by.
If this happened here, we would be screwed.

Soon someone will be by to tell you that these things have been happening for years. Nothing to stress over. Wonder how long till we get one of those.

People are hyper-aware

It's likely our crappy infrastructure, we used to live by the railroad tracks in the 70s and we had derailments all the time.

Almost all of them have NOT happened in heavily populated areas, you know areas where tracks are checked and maintained more frequently

Wow those same tracks come through the town I live in, I live about a mile from those tracks. The whole 42 yrs I've lived here the worst that ive heard or seen happen was about a 10 mile long fire started I believe from spark from a train. I don't think these train derailments are coincidences. I'm getting worried especially with FCD talking about how we should watch Romania and that Minnesota isn't safe. Really wish he would tell me why Minnesota isn't safe.

Is this the start FCD should be prepared to leave what the actual F is going on?

Peace

Sorry correction it was the redneck that said it

WTF is going on with all these train derailments?

In 2021, there were 1,087 derailments that resulted in 83 injuries and three fatalities, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation's Bureau of Transportation Statistics. That's down from 1,440 derailments in 2011 and down from 2,234 derailments in 2001.
So far in February, there have been more than half a dozen train derailments reported.

It looks to me like train derailments are offered to keep attention diverted as the Machine continues to steamroll us.
People bore easily, so we're being swung like a pendulum from shootings to UAP's to China, Russia, bank collapses, etc.

That doesn't leave much time for MSM to report on congressional investigations into the Biden family, how well the war in Ukraine is (not) going, current Covid vaccine data, the growing drug and immigration problems, sexualizing and mutilating children, weaponization of gov. agencies and the like.

Protests and riots are happening against governments world-wide, but the media reports just one-if any.

Train derailments are just a bone to keep us occupied.

I do have to ask what the post was, I think I did read it a while back but would like to read it for context.

Never mind here it is

MARCH 30, 2023 9:14 AM PT

MAHMUDIA, Romania — Romania’s navy led multinational military drills in the Black Sea region Thursday that brought together U.S. and NATO troops as the 30-nation alliance looks to boost security on its southeastern flank amid Russia’s war in Ukraine.
The sea and air exercises are part of a series of drills known as Sea Shield 2023 that involve some 3,400 military personnel from 12 NATO member countries and some partner nations.

Romania’s navy said Thursday’s drills in the Mahmudia region of the Danube Delta, which flows into the Black Sea, would demonstrate how the combined forces would “neutralize an enemy air landing” in an area adjacent to such a waterway.

More than 30 naval ships, 14 aircraft and 15 “fast intervention” boats and other patrol vessels are taking part in Sea Shield 2023, which started March 20 and runs until April 2. Anti-explosive divers have participated in drills, as have chemical, biological, and nuclear defense specialists.

In response to Russia’s February 2022 invasion of Ukraine, NATO bolstered its presence on Europe’s eastern flank by sending additional multinational battlegroups to alliance members Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Slovakia.

Could be sabotage by external forces, could be sabotage by internal forces, could be that the companies sourced very cheap materials for the train / cars (without paying any attention to the quality) which now give way. Could be many different other reasons.

One thing seems to be clear though, and that is that this appears to be a systemic issue and not just independent incidences.

No coincidences

If you want priority for those govt infrastructure fund $$$
you have to have a derailment to show you need tracks updated.
You don't want to have to pay for it yourself and lose profits.

Thats to bad because like I said I live along those same tracks and for 42 yrs and I never heard or seen a derailment but that's just in my local area also so I'm nit saying it never happens just not here, yet at least.

Peace
