Just because you've written a paper on it does not immediately confirm that you are correct.

There are those of us who have also been to college and have also written papers.

I agree fully, I am more than willing to change my conclusion based on the presentation of new facts proving my assumptions otherwise. I am just yet to see any so far.

I would study the difference between a command economy versus a free-market economy to start.

By command, I would argue the word is planned for a start. Maybe and I am assuming here that you might be from accross the pond, you guys have a habit of using different words. But Planned economy is communism wheras a free market economy is capitalism. With Singapore being the most free market example out there.

I am more than happy to be proven wrong though as I can use it as evidence for a refund from my course provider for my PHd in economics. Would be a great help in fact, £15k saved.

There are some good Chinese, but the Chinese government is barbarian. They treat Christians and other religions horribly, Imprisonment, rapes, torture, harassment nonstop. Their government style brings inferior products. Poor government choices abound. Now their population is in serious decline. All those big empty cities they built for nothing. Pure foolishness. Its no wonder Xi has those expressions on his face everywhere. He is a dummy. He is an overgrown Pooh Bear

You highlight a valid point, it is not the Chinese people where the problem lies more in the Chinese Communist Party, which is also just as much a problem to the Chinese people as well as the rest of the free world. restricted terms are in civilized countries for a reason. Any country that allows continuous interrupted power is not good for humanity.

From my research paper did you know that 40% of American import products were designed in America, but greed compelled the manufacturer to build them abroad so they could be sold back to americans at a trade deficit loss. How patriotic.

I've been talking about getting a job at my age is difficult here in Japan but I was finally able to nail a part-time job working for a subcontractor for Mazda motor corporation y'all don't know this but all the plastics that are made that go into the master car are made in China and ship to Japan and actually my job is to inspect the parts that come in from China for certain part of the master car and they throw away garbage that we have to deal with the imperfections the the broken down parts is just astronomical but also what I'm leading up to is that in Mexico all the parts that are being shipped from China to Mexico for the American cars we're under the impression oh they're made in Mexico but I don't know anybody here that works for the card manufacturers in America but that is something to check out because possibly 90% of what you see in the car is actually made in China the plastics and the rubbers and then ship to Mexico or even the United States too so that is something to be concerned about.

A product label under WTO rules states that the made in label is in the country of which it is a finished product. China subvert this by making Italian designer jeans in China then exporting them to have a button added in Milan, yay made in Italy now, lets charge 40 times more.

Just curious are you self-employed ?

I think someone who has studied economics from the book and not the real world probably is probably employed by an employer but someone who studies economics by how the real world works that I'm almost quite sure that that person is self-employed and a business owner.

Yes, go on.. My family escaped certain death when we fled Turkey in 1913. Our family member, Hagop Kazazian (Pasha) ruled in the Ottoman Empire in the late 1800s . He died in an accident. About 3 1/2 years after we left, we got the sad news that everyone who stayed behind was dead. They were murdered 1.5 million souls.

China's inflation is at 1% because they have a Command Economy where the government sets prices and values on goods and services.

*cue the "More You Know" rainbow*

They have what is called a planned economy where you are only allowed to produce what the government says you are allowed to. However China has been enjoying discounted energy exports from Russia thanks to our sanctions and however they handle their economy their inflation stands at 1% whilst the EU's stands at 10.1%. They have played the west like a fiddle.

lol

Of course China's inflation is 1%

Just like USSR's unemployment was 0%

When you can control costs, values, you can control inflation.

The western nations rely on a varied free market economy where supply and demand necessitate costs.

Wrong.

China CLAIMS to have a 1% inflation rate because of a command economy. Reality is price controls by governments have NEVER worked, anywhere and at any time in history.

Chinese economic numbers are simply FALSIFIED, because it is a dictatorship.

I noticed this in a lot of Asian countries. When I worked/studied in Japan and South Korea, the spirit of innovation was pretty much dead. They just copied copied copied. Without true understanding

I have served in the military, been employed in broadcasting but now work at the civil service. I do have a varied experience, I do not run or own my own business. I actually do believe that real life experience can never be replaced with those that just study text books. I didn't get my first degree until I was in my 30s.

The answer is pol pot if anybody was wondering. He would have you executed if you wore glasses, could read or showed any signs of intelligence. Ironically Pol Pot was supposed to mean Political Potential. It is estimated he murdered upto 3 million of his own citizens.

China is now leading the Global South, and its members are forming new economic blocs and bilateral deals, using various currencies instead of just the dollar. This is leading to a multipolar world, which will be disastrous for the U.S. because it needs the global economy to be reliant on the dollar, which will allow it to continue heavy borrowing and spending started during the early 1980s, leading to total debts of more than $90 trillion and unfunded liabilities of more than $180 trillion.

This is true. For as long as global trade especially commodities including crude oil are traded in dollars, then the US can continue to print money (quantitative easing) without having much of an impact on the strength of the dollar. However if a nation like the UK were to do the same the currency would rapidly devalue. It is make or break time for the US, not a great time to have a senile President in charge to be perfectly honest. De Santis would be my vote, if I was entitled to one.
