The Beastie Boys I dig for the nostalgia had a couple of friends who were into them, but I had my Fatboy Slim phase too
The Walken video is superior for the overall effect, I like Its Wonderful Night.

Like I said I've found more music I dig here on ATS than just about anywhere else. RT mentioned "Fanny" in a post a few years ago and it's now one of those bands where I got to crank it all the way up.



I listen to all kinds of music though but I go through phases mostly but .... and what's wrong with a little "nerdy" BTW. I always thought I was...



Kongos hmm not that I recall, it sounds catchy and upbeat enough and who doesn't enjoy when a slide is used properly, have them on my watch list.

Here's what youtube suggested for me recently, which is decidedly "nerdy" but I can't deny I do like it





as for Gorillaz, I was always partial to Feel Good and Clint Eastwood but Dare has a damn good chill vibe going very Blondiesque...their vids are always top-shelf productions.





I can do this all day and night though, seriously... keep them coming everybody

Nerdy is perfectly fine, nothing at all wrong with that, in fact the only 'celebrity' I give half a # about is Wil Wheaton.

I have the weirdest thing with so many KONGOS songs going on. Like it's a story that seperated itself from a real event and ever since it's like Semele & Zeus
...But the way I heard it the whole palace burnt down.
And KONGOS are the soundtrack.

It's a lot of fun
