Model rocketry mixed with beats (yes beats)

Been bored waiting on warmer spring moments of tulips and shhhh!
Anyway I dig model rockets, anyone else? I am waiting on warm weather to finally paint a few model rockets.

Meanwhile on my build of an Estes Mercury Redstone I discovered it was also a music instrument of sorts. Being a guitarist, humorist and being rhythmic I kinda came up with this embarrassing stunt.

Built "E" and "F"-class rockets back in the '90's.

Motors were press-fit into a receiving tube, as I recall.

Got my level 1 certification with the first scratch-built rocket I built, out at Black Rock, NV during a "fly-in" event.

A bit jealous. Didn't have the time or $$$ to do that. But in the next week or so, my daughter and I are going to build and launch a few of the Estes ones.

What amazed me is how, upon ignition, the rocket seemed to be on the ground one moment, and incredibly high the next. Distinctive sound.
