He's just tired of letting the rest of the world get a free ride on his back like the rest of us. Who cares about the citizens of Mexico, we could live without them no problem, the whole planet could. What I do care about is them invading and destroying our hospitals and schools by using our tax money to pay for their lack of insurance, etc.

Not true. The most widely spoken language is Mandarin.

Sorry my bad. A quick google search turned up a few sources with a few different lists - but still, Spanish was up there on every list. Mandarin was on the top of every list i did see though.

I will be sure to correct my old High School Spanish teacher

With what, a billion people speaking it, Mandarin has an unfair advantage

This is sick. I keep hearing on this board that this or that nation has no value for the greater civilization. What has this world come to... Yes, fascism of the first order. It is also un-American to segregate on the basis of skin color and or country of origin. I suppose if a bunch of New Zealanders were trying to cross the border and got bombed to smitherings, that would mean something to you.

The US was up in the arms when people were machine gunned at the Berlin Wall, and at the Tianamen square etc etc etc, somehow you guys find it's OK to spill the guts of a few Mexicans because they are subhuman.

SHAME ON YOU, NEW BREED OF FASCISTS.

The border should be shut completely, and Bush is responsible for not doing this with enough fortitude. Every illegal should be treated humanely and answer according to the law. There is nothing about bombing in that law, you sick people.

I have said that the border situation needs to be resolved in a way that is equitable to both countries. The majority of Illegal Immigrants are seeking work, the people that employ them are seeking to raise their profit level by paying sub-par wages. The current system of Fines is not being enforced against employers and the government has abdicated it's responsibility in the situation by adopting a laissez faire policy.

My proposal is to establish a new agency which will register all available workers at a U.S. Consulate. When the need arises for X number of workers they are then transported to the work site and paid an agreed upon wage. Housing will be provided, and paid for equally by the government and the employer. Families will not be permitted, and work contracts will be limited to six months. This system will allow the illegals to that which they want - make some U.S. Dollars to send home, it will allow registered employers to pay a sub-par wage, and it will establish a system that employes more Americans to oversee the program. The benefits of this program could be cost effective as Americans would continue to enjoy lower food/manufacturing costs.

Chuck, thanks for being constructive and for being a good human being. As opposed to some who profess their love of bombs as the final solution.

Great post

If your dumb enough to wander into a bombing range, than you deserve what you get.

Remember those socialist punks in Puerto Rico? They stopped the Navy from being able to practice bombing because of their PC crap!! Our boys need all the practice they can get to give them an edge in combat.

We would'nt want anymore Canadian soldiers bombed accidently would we? Thats what training is for.

Perhaps if someone "serving" in our government actually cared about what's going on, they would slap a 6 month jail term on ANY and ALL first offending-employers found to have hired illegals. The thought of going to jail MIGHT actually cause these traitors to think twice before hiring them.

Didn't expect anything else from you, la_m. And is the bombing range is not fenced and/or guarded, all the better, right.

Fact is, nobody wants things like that in their backyard. I don't want an asphalt factory in my neighborhood, althoug it woulf give the county the edge in paving the roads.

Wtf. It was not about precision, but about a fatigued pilot on AF issue amphetamins.

Good find Dr.

Seeing as the article is dated on the 7th I wonder if those are some of illegals that have moved from the Tucson/tombstone area because the Minuteman are there?

Aha! Shots picked up on the point I made earlier. I wondered if the minutemen patrols was having a lateral effect on their movement? I wouldn't doubt it.

Reading this, I can't help thinking that right now there is a certain shortage of wisdom in Colorado as well.

Actually several news stories have stated that the Beta Group (Mexican supporters) are telling the illegals not to cross in the area where the minutmen are, they are then telling them to cross in other areas. The US border patrol is also saying crossings are down because of the minutemen.

One can look at it this way, if they are dumb enough to move to the Yuma bombing range they deserve what they get.

To be honest, aren't these places mean't to be protected by perimeter fencing and patrolled guards? especially when dealing with live ordenance? I am actually surprised that not all training camps are placed on the countries borders to act as security in any means...

No, they are not fenced or patrolled. These ranges are outside of the fenced and patrolled areas, At least here by Quantico. They have signs up saying U.S. Gov property no trespassing but thats about it. It would be very costly to fence in the immense areas used for practice. I've walked to them during hunting season, but don't dare to go into the areas because of unexploded ordnance.

So theoretically, in darkness or dusk, I could have missed the sign, wander inside and be blown up

I guess if you often venture to remote places in the dark. Its not like they put them next to the highway. I'd say you would have to worry more about the wildlife in most of those areas before you actually got to the ranges.

...I'd be wondering:

a)What a bunch of us are doing thousands of miles away from home...and

b)WHY would we want to sneak into the USA...when here in NZ our freedom is a given...and its rarely taken. Its not something we trumpet...perhaps it just IS, rather than perhaps needing to convince ourselves we still have some freedoms left...

Yes me and a few marine cadets in a minibus ended up on the MOD mortar range....one sign only....it just directed you to the ranges...although down south they have those signs all over the places..
