Could Chat GPT Talk to Whales?

That's a question now being asked by scientists at SETI , since the advent of Chat GPT 3 scientific thought has turned to whether the technology could become our version of Dr. Dolittle and allow us the ability to converse with the animals , or initially to start to converse with Sperm Whales as their language patterns are somewhat similar to ours , this 20 minute video explains the thought behind the SETI project.


If we could talk to animals imagine what a paradigm shift that would be ! , I hope for the sake of our Whale populations and other species of this Planet SETI bear fruit from their initiative.

The law of unintended consequences.
Do we really want to hear what every squirrel, bird, raccoon has to say? Maritime "road rage" incidents between whales and submarines/ships? Cod & Crab's hysteria at being hauled into ship's holds akin to alien abductions?

My pets already make clear their thoughts on things.
Do I REALLY need to hear in spoken language their opinions on life, food, treats? Of course this will get ugly at abattoirs & chicken houses & pig farms.

On the other hand we'll get the answer to why Moose are so homicidal with humans.
Moose see's human = us seeing a spider or snake.
