Russia the sadness of the hurting hearts of its people

We in the US were told that the civilian casualties in Iraq Afghanistan were incorrect numbers because Sadaams army started operating from within the civilian populace. There were attrocities committed by the US, of this there is no doubt but they were not inflicted upon civilians with either intent or casual disregard. War. In battle civility..Im not qualified to discuss this in combat terms..there are those here that are, maybe they can help convey what Im attempting to communicate .. a reply to: andy06shake

Yeh, im not a fan of any of the Gulf wars or whatever Afghanistan turned out to be, never have been, and never will be.

It does not excuse what Putin has perpetrated in Ukraine all the same or the fact that he is bringing the world to the brink of a third world war with his illegal invasion and land grab.

Apparently, there is not much punishment for road rage in Russia.

And it takes so much time and effort to make the Police do their job where petty crimes are concerned that most people let it go.

Not quite sure as to the name of the Soviet program that appropriated scientists and technicians after WW-2.
