I thought some may like this vid of some of the weirdest lifeforms we share our planet with the collective critters known as siphonophores-
Such a bizarre lifeform-made up of a few different types of singular organisms, which alone don't do very much and would not survive-yet when they
hang out together, they arrange and link up into the beautiful looking and now multi functional greater "thing."
But now they are dangerous-The collective can HUNT..It has become a predatory carnivore.
They use the light they emit to attract other sea creatures, which they catch with tentacle like appendages and kill with poison pods !
For extra weirdness points-they often appear to mimic other sea life forms, and can swim and wriggle through the water.
How on earth do they "know" how to do all that?
Do the individual lifeforms communicate with each other?
Does the collective have collective consciousness of some kind?
Who knows.
All I know is everything about them is highly strange. en.wikipedia.org...
Now I have to go share it with my family... way cool.
These amazing creatures live in a world of no walls, our knowledge of them has exploded as of recent years technological developments and research
interest. But I find them fascinating in the way they exist in that world. ... and they can be quite beautiful...

They may be the closest thing to alien life on this planet-Maybe thats what the UFOs are monitoring, not us boring two legged land dwellers.

Super cool OP. This is why I came to this site; for the weird stuff.
There are so many strange creatures in the deep. The deeper you go the weirder things get.
This you posted about is definitely one of the more unusual being that's it's not one creature, but several acting as one. It mimicking other
creatures is flat out creepy. But super cool. Thanks for sharing.
