NATO repeatedly moved ever closer to Russia, telling everyone the plan is to make Ukraine a member state.

Wrong.
Ukraine was told in no uncertain terms that it had no chance of being allowed to join NATO in the foreseeable future. They were told that it would be at least 20 years until they were even given a Membership Action Plan.

You're simply incapable of original thought.

Ha ha ha....of course. 🤣🤣

All he would have to do is reset things to the way they were before Ukraine/biden seized the opposition party tv stations and assets of Viktor Medvedchuk, which is what started all of this. If Russia was assured they would continue to have a voice in Ukraine as they did before this fiasco things would calm down quickly.

There is still the matter of rebuilding, which the US should really stay out of. Let NATO and the rest of the bleeding hearts pitch in on that part since so many of them won't pitch in on the war effort itself.

Above all else, the money train through Ukraine and back to the bidens should be blocked at all costs.

Donald Trump recently said that he could end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours.

The Ukrainian people may disagree about surrendering.

It's Putin that is giving them more war. I mean, "Special Military Operation" which is definitely not war, if call that, Gulag for you.

Yes, I'm sure the people of Donbass disagree about surrendering, you are correct.

None of my business, let Europe handle it if they're that askeered of the boogey man.

Trump says things because he knows people will pay attention to it, good or bad. Sometimes saying something outlandish gets the ball rolling.

Trump certainly knows how to give a speech, and how refreshing to hear someone come right out and state his intentions in these dangerous times.
He even had the guts to come out with 'The Real State of the Union Address'!

I was talking about the rest of the people of Ukraine which you seem happy to ignore being murdered.

I guess Canada wants to bug out. Fine. Must be the French in them?

Let's leave it to the big boys, eh?

Is NATO even in Ukraine?

Wellllll, considering he got our NATO Allie’s to “pay their fair share” as one of his numerous accomplishments during his term, I’d say he has quite a bit of pull.
What? You didn’t hear about this? Why am I not surprised.
But that Zelensky guy sure has some gall ordering the guy in the White House and the American People around.

Putin got all those NATO countries who weren't pulling their weight to increase their defence budget by invading Ukraine.

I don't see how surrendering to Russian threats to nuke Ukraine, UK and Germany and rewarding war crimes can bring lasting peace - especially when Russia revealed maps of which countries they'll invade next after Ukraine to annex the Black Sea.

Most of Trumps claims and plan are demonstratably false - i.e claim NATO is in Ukraine etc...or just show no understanding of geo-politics (i.e Europe would want even more evenrgy dependence on Russia after all the threats to nuke their capitals and annexation of the bread basket of Europe.

Trump was good domestically for the US but he's rightfully mocked on the World stage for being clueless on international issues and relying on soundbytes instead of substance - see surrender deal to the Taliban and abandonning allies in Northern Syria as he was naive enough to think Turkey wouldn't free ISIS prisoners and thought ethnic cleansing was 'letting two kids fight it out in a playground' instead of a crime against humanity.

Trump's character is a combination of MacArthur's megalomania and Jacksonian tendencies. So his ludicrous statement concerning ending the war in Ukraine is not unexpected. Moreover, there is no agreement Trump could reach with Putin that didn't involve appeasing Putin's territorial ambitions and triggering WW3.

Also, overlooking how China monitors the war in Ukraine and related matters is an act of folly. If China thinks their military aggression in the Pacific will go unchecked, Trump will have invited that situation to unfold.

Without US support, NATO wouldn't last 6 months (or much less), and every member knows it.

Is NATO even in Ukraine?

That's a rhetorical question, right? I mean, you can't be so naive as to believe that we aren't running that war through our NATO puppets?

I have an idea... why not all those countries which support Ukraine (ahem England) just leave NATO and go handle it on their own.

It's the end of Globalism folks, Populism coming soon to a theater near you!

Deal with it...

Can you say China?
