This actually explains a lot. basically in my line of thinking, this is more nationalistic than either EU or Russian color revolution. One thing to keep in mind. Georgia is pulled in 2 directions. After Chechnya, Russia annexed parts of Georgia. Georgia hasn't forgotten this, as the areas they took were resort areas where russians typically made summer homes to go to the beach. It had money, it had a higher standard of living. As a result, it dragged the rest of their economy into a recession. Now, EU has a vested interest to expand there, however like almost all of eastern europe there is a sizable russian population there. so the government is dealing with these two groups of influence. where the majority Georgians want to integrate with EU and NATO, the Russian population wants to connect more with Russia. By putting this law into effect, you know who is paying for the talk. I think its a good thing.

You do know that Egypt is very VERY restrictive in regards to journalism correct?
Like probably one of the most restrictive in the world.
To be a journalist there essentially is a prison sentence.

I watched a young student filmed in a Russian "Court room" , being sent down for 8 1/2 years for calling the war a war.. and saying unsporting things about it. It was filmed in #ing Russia.

You seem outdated on that news. Egypt has banned four American NGOs including the one run by Sen John Mcain. What Egypt has towards NGO isnt just about journalism in general.

Egypt and China are both aware of regime change polices by US.
