The world No. 1 Serbian tennis star was denied entry into the United States due to him being unvaccinated against COVID-19, forcing him to withdraw from the BNP Paribas Open, which starts Wednesday in Indian Wells, Ca.

Djokovic had requested a vaccine waiver, but was denied by Homeland Security.

It’s not the first time that Djokovic has been forced out of competition due to his vaccination status.

The 35-year-old was forced to withdraw from the 2022 Australian Open after arriving in Melbourne, first having his visa cancelled and then being deported out of the country.

Djokovic also did not play in the 2022 U.S. Open, which Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz ended up winning.

Novak Djokovic denied entry into US again over COVID vaccine status

The BNP Paribas tournament announced his withdrawal on Sunday night.

Play in the combined ATP-WTA event at Indian Wells Tennis Garden and runs through March 19.

Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., said on Twitter that Homeland Security had rejected Djokovic’s vaccine waiver request, which would have allowed him to play back-to-back at Indian Wells and Miami, which runs March 19-April 2.

The paranoic and hysteric Covid campaign is still going on even though all the narratives that it employed have been debunked one by one. Even now in its dying moments this absurd campaign is trying to enforce the most ludicrous and anti-scientific regulations.

The US is ending the emergency declaration on the 11th of May after which anyone who travels to the country doesn't need to be vaccinated with the junk by Pfizer and Moderna.

As absurd as it gets! Denied entry to a world class athlete on the basis of his vaccination status and when it is already known that the mRNA products are not preventing transmission or infection and they have very little impact in reducing them. In addition we already know that natural immunity confers much better protection than 'vaccine' induced immunity and it is a form of protection which is simply superior.

As someone else said online in response to the refused entry: 0% science but 100% cult.
I cannot agree more!

Regardless of the entry refusals, Novak Djokovic is a true champion on the tennis court and outside of it. Hats off to Djokovic for his stance against this global paranoia and for being a role model of true character, bravery, courage, and determination.

All countries have a list of vaccines needed to enter. If he had to get a polio vaccine and he refused, it would be the same deal. Countries don't make exceptions based on someone's fame or athletic ability.

He's very well aware of this and will use the time to get ready for Monte Carlo.

He's an amazing player, always a pleasure to watch, but he's a stubborn Serbian, a nation that's always 20 years behind everyone else. It will take the Serbs so long to join Europe just because they're so stubborn about things they will eventually have to agree with... like vaccines, or voting rights.

Wow what a ridiculous take. Australia may have prevented him from playing in 2022 but we let him back in to play this year and he won the Australian Open. Surprise surprise. I bet the US doesn't want the same thing happening so they blocked his entry even though there is basically no logical reason to prevent him playing at this point in time.

Its zero science and all politics as it has been since the start of the scamdemic.

I've spent the last 25 years of my life travelling the world: UK, Spain, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Malaysia and many more, and I have never once had to show proof of vaccination for any disease....anywhere.

Only obedience is tolerated and disobedience punished. This has nothing to do with any 'vaccines' or preventing any transmission of 'covid'.

If he wants to get into the USA unvaccinated, go to Mexico first and just cross the boarder.

As for this mandate insanity with the international airports, travel closer to home until it ends if you can.

Novak Djokovic is one of the greatest role models on this planet right now... Say no to biofascism, say yes to life. Champion of champions.

Are you attempting some sort of sarcasm?

Novak Djokovic is indeed a role model. You need to learn how to say no in your life and stand by what you believe in.

Although I agree with what you say in your first part the 'vaccines' is the means by which other matters will be pursued in the future. In addition the vaccination campaign is the biggest project in the history of medical history.

In the last 8 years my family has traveled to India (3 times about 8 years ago), Amsterdam and Ukraine (about 5 years ago), and never once were we asked to show any proof of jabs at all. Admittedly this was before the emergence of the Branch-Covidian cult.

If he had to get a polio vaccine and he refused, it would be the same deal. Countries don't make exceptions based on someone's fame or athletic ability.

So you are fully supportive of fake/anti-science narratives being used to force people into injecting deadly toxic compounds into their bodies in order to just live their lives.

Got it.

Indeed the term you used is very successful. Covidian cult it is.

They just want to deny him his number 1 spot at the top to be one of the greatest.(he is still number 1 though)
This man has been working hard to be one of the greatest in tennis for the last 2 decades, but he is missing tournaments because of the covid rules worldwide.
It was between him Nadal and Federer most of the time, but they are screwing him over the last few years while he still can playing tennis, just because of his opinions stay strong Djokovic your still number 1!

It doesn't matter as he is a true champion outside of the tennis court. And he has proven it several times. He said no to these absurd and ludicrous mandates again and again and for this reason he is a champion. Some matters are much more important than tennis or any other sport.

What an absurd justification of the most anti-scientific medical campaign to vaccinate everyone and everything with untested, experimental, and dangerous junk that has been imposed against all medical ethics and all scientific principles.

His refusal has nothing to do with the fact that he is Serbian. May I remind you that several others have refused the junk from all nationalities in the world. Also the Serbs back in WW2 fought against the Nazi regime when at the same time their neighbours, Croatians, fought side by side with the Nazis. One country has joined the other hasn't. And so what??

It may take long for them to join the EU, if they ever do, but who gives a damn about it.

a reply to: Asmodeus3But still statistics matter though, at least for most of the players and people who are playing/watching the sports.

These stats. Most top sporters always want to be the best in what they are doing,if you going for reaching the top in sports you only have until je 40's most of the time ,and otherwise you gonna miss the boat of being one of the best.

And that is what they are doing now, they are denying him to be the best , but then again 2 of the 3 people are from the USA,and both arn't playing anymore.

It's between him and Federer for years, and it's gonna be hard to compete to get the most grand slams, if a few of them are played in US and your not allowed to play.
