President Trump won the Conservative Political Action Conference’s straw poll by a LAND SLIDE Saturday — proof, his supporters said, that he remains the GOP’s formidable front-runner as the 2024 Republican primaries loom. Trump won with 62 percent, while Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), likely his closest rival, came in at 20 percent. Businessman Perry Johnson, who announced his candidacy for the White House this week, earned 5 percent. At the same time, CPAC has transformed into a Trump-friendly venue over the years, and several prospective 2024 presidential contenders, including DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence and Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), skipped out on the event this time around.

Tulsi Gabbard gave a very impressive speech at CPAC.

Impressive. Trump/Tulsi would be a promising team but I can't help feeling that they will get stiffed by the establishment cabal.

And these items from his Closing Remarks yesterday are what makes Donald Trump a "champion" for the people of America, and (thankfully) the front-runner for coming to our rescue on 1/20/2025.

Trump and Tulsi in 2024?

It will be interesting how the polls stack up. I predict DeSanctomonious will ultimately be the GOP front runner.

It's insane how much time and how much energy they spent discussing children's genitals and trans people.

When you think about it, this was probably the world's largest gathering of non-medical persons discussing children's genitalia for an extended period of time.

Unlikely. That would bring America to an end. We'd be learning Chinese soon after.

If the FBI/DHS/SService/State Dept. had not kept, and forced Google/YouTube/Twitter/FaceBook to keep Biden Family activities hidden, Donald Trump would be President today, Putin would not be in Ukraine, and Ron DeSantis would likely be the leading contender for winning the Presidency in November 2024.

You gotta love the fact that this businessman out of nowhere, Perry Johnson, came in third place ahead of Mike Pence and Nikki Haley too.

Now after CPAC the polls will start coming soon to see who the GOP actually prefers to be the nominee.

If trump dosen't get the numbers he wants, he will bail. CPAC and trump couldn't even fill the auditorium.

I'm still hoping for a Trump/DeSantis ticket. They would be unstoppable IMHO

Considering that tickets were on sale till the last minute when in the past have always been sold out early is a pretty good indicator that the MAGA crowd isn't as popular as people here want it to be.
The lose of its biggest sponsors and speakers is also a good indication that Trump is not as loved as you think.

Actions speak louder than words.

Just mudslingers in a communal swamp who share dualistic disguises.

Enjoy the movie and the endless dramatic sequels.

Did you see CPAC? Not even Trump could fill half the auditorium. On top of that, the audience for CPAC is the MAGA crowd. So who do you expect them to pick in a poll?

This really isn't any different than if Trump polled the crowd of one of his rallies about who they're going to vote for.

But hey, the Orange Guy's handlers have to do what they can to assuage his ego.

I'm guessing you didn't actually watch it. CPAC was hilariously dead.

Coming to your rescue? lol... I know you are a proclaimed "follower" of trump and advocated for him to be named king... What is is it exactly you want him to rescue you from?

Trump having the most spending in 4 years of any president makes him an ironic favorite of fiscal “conservatives”.

Even before COVID spending records were being broken.
