The guy in the video was holding the Crystal quite firmly indeed with a set of hand held cramps . There would have been a fair amount of pressure on that quartz as it was held, and also a lot of pressure applied at the tool face as it spun into the quartz.

Why would Conductivity increase, in your opinion ?
What conditions make a material suddenly ‘more conductive?’ Especially in the experiment described.
If you were surprised by the luminescence of the quartz pressured and rubbed , you clearly hadn’t seen it before on that level.
You don’t know if that ‘light’ produced is a measurable source of energy , or volts, OR amps , or even readable at all by commonly used methods .
