Eric Weinstein on JRE

~4 hr podcast from yesterday with Eric Weinstein on JRE.

Loaded with interesting science/UFO topics, wanted to post a few below;

-Originally uninterested in UFO topic, believed it was all a cover for military programs. Compared to WW2 when the US was planning to “invade Norway” as a cover for D-Day. Understandable train of thought - didn’t want to waste time pondering what he thought was a cover story.

-Claims he has been getting “Charlie Brown’d” by various intelligence agencies promising to show him mind blowing, advanced tech only to back out over and over again for ~3 years.

-Questions these agencies assertions that they are seeing things that “defy the laws of physics” - he has repeatedly asked for someone to talk to that understands physics enough to even properly define the laws that are being broken. No luck - doesn’t understand how they can make these claims without knowledgeable Physicists to confirm.

-Interesting theories on why IF this was a government fake, it would make total sense that they would want to ensure real, knowledgeable Physicists weren’t involved. Example of if these are just “lasers being reflected from mirrors to appear that we have physics-defying craft”, when you let the actual knowledgeable smart people look under the hood they would quickly realize this.

-Interesting connections between Stony Brook U & Renaissance hedge fund - believes if there was a “Manhattan Project” level of underground science going on, that’s his bet where it is. Talks about (4) “unknown” sources of mass wealth in recent history - two were Epstein and Madoff, one is this “Renaissance” hedge fund.

-Lots of interesting comments on the stagnation of science and particular fields within it. Basically says anyone who colors outside the lines is immediately labeled a crackpot and discredited to the nth degree.

-Thinks conspiracy theories and the big “push” of them lately is due to private citizens stumbling on big gov projects. Gov has internal tools to check with other gov orgs before pursuing leads to ensure when they do things like arrest a drug lord they aren’t actually screwing up the CIA’s 15-year infiltration plan. What do they do when a private citizen stumbles on this though? They paint them into the conspiracy theorist corner.

-Loved his comparison of VHS/cassette “rewinding” vs current streaming and how we currently think about movement. With rewinding we were going Point A => Point B, then Point B=> Point A each time we wanted to watch something. This later becomes unnecessary and we can now just continually watch Point A => Point B and immediately restart at Point A each time. How often is our current tech “rewinding” unnecessarily?

-Small mentions of some cattle mutilation stuff that seems to really freak him out. Something about the 3 inner ear bones with mammals. Don’t know enough about it to understand much but he seemed really perplexed that he wasn’t able to quickly dismiss some of these accounts.

-Talks about one of the other scientists connected to all of this being into remote viewing. Says that guy told him they do it in pressurized submarines at the bottom of Mariana Trench. Interesting thoughts about how neutrinos could be involved. I pictured the Batman Dark Knight scene where he turns all the cell phones into a viewable real-time map of Gotham.

These were just some of the more interesting topics I remember from watching it yesterday. Wondering if any others have given it a watch yet and what things stood out?

I listened to it today, not for the feint of heart as some of the physics invoked is beyond the layman.

My biggest take from it all was his insinuation that disclosure is imminent and he'd been approached as potentially revealing some of these technologies to the public.

Yeah definitely gets brain-melting at some points. He even says “we don’t have enough common vocabulary to explain this in detail” a few times, and I would have to agree. I don’t have the science background to understand a lot of it either but appreciate those that try to water it down and metaphor it enough for us to get the gist.

Yeah I agree with your takeaway. I think the “imminent” part is up for discussion, seems like he thinks they may continue to drag it out and this was his attempt to kick the tires.

What I found interesting and understandable was the fact that if what is being seen is genuine then almost certainly physicists, quantum scientists and string theory scientists must at some stage have had an involvement. These scientists are all the top people in the world at what they do and are a close knit community and all know each other. The fact that none have gone dark and not been seen or heard of is significant. There aren’t many universities producing people of this calibre and even now prospective students would be on the radar. So if it’s earth tech whose done the equations and mathematics. Never mind the level of engineering that would be needed to make the nuts and bolts.

If you dont think the likes of Lockheed, Northrop, Raytheon, Boeing, General Dynamics have snatched up some absolute geniuses i suggest you should think again. And maybe the physics of whatever this is was discovered way back when in the 40’s.The NDA’s those scientists and engineers sign hold up i would imagine. There are lots and lots of interesting and thought provoking posts in old threads in the Aircraft Projects forum.

As for the episode i really enjoyed it. Seems that maybe something is about to give. If its more smoke and mirrors or an actual slow release of whats really going on remains to be seen though.

The three ear bones are:

Hammer (malleus) — attached to the eardrum. Anvil (incus) — in the middle of the chain of bones. Stirrup (stapes) — attached to the membrane-covered opening that connects the middle ear with the inner ear.

Why would aliens be interested in them...?

My guess would be to figure out a better way of communicating. Most talk about some type of telepathy regarding ETs. Maybe our ears need a biological or technical improvement to match how they communicate.

I listened to this last night and decided to come here to see if anyone had brought it up. So thank you for bringing it up. That was a great listen and it allllmost makes sense to me The other thing I wanted to bring up was when Eric asked Joe if he had heard of the Wilson Memos and Joe responded that he hadn't and then Eric explains what they are. Joe must have forgotten that George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell brought the Wilson Memo's up when he was on Joe Rogan's podcast a few times ago. I'll try to go back and find it. I think it just helps the average Joe corroborate more of the things we hear from the likes of people like Eric Weinstein instead of people more like Jeremy Corbell. Also, the analogy that Earth is a lot like North Sentinel Island was thoughtful
