Ironic isn't it. I was willing to make peace with the Afghanistan mess if it meant no more foreign policing. Now here we are, no better for having traded one expensive and tedious "entanglement" for another.

Uh.. no.

We really dont hate that much. We'd prefer Russia to be prosperous, free, and a contributing member of Europe. Hell, it would be awesome if Russia joined the EU someday in the future after tyrants are gone. Maybe when that guy who got poisoned thats in prison becomes the President.

It'd be like a new age of enlightenment for Russia, Europe too. Bring everyone up to speed, hang out together, no need to fear each other or hate each other. Hey, they all have the same color skin and a shared history right.
