There will definitely be some. Especially those who believe Heaven can hold no more than 723,000 souls. They never contemplated that other species will be competing for those 723,000 open slots.

Never heard the 723,000 silliness before, where does that come from?
Anyone who proclaims to actually KNOW ANYTHING about the nature of creation, God, or the universe should be viewed with absolute skepticism, as NO ONE can actually KNOW.

I simply read the OP and so am responding only to that.
Most religious people I know, and I know thousands do not fear "extraterrestrials". Nor would the revelation of extraterrestrials shake their faith in God, who in their eyes made a huge universe with many planets and solar systems.
As a matter of fact, every single religious person I know says and believes that God could easily have created many other habitable planets with other life forms on it, even intelligent.
FYI: Many planets with intelligent life is the basis of the Mormon faith, which I am not but have friends who are. Mormons definitely believe in extraterrestrials and it would only make them thrilled and reinforce their faith to discover it is true.
While it is true that today's Democratic Party run government seems to openly, despise, fear religious people, even hate them. AOC's latest paranoid explosion about the Super Bowl commercial is an eye opening reflection of that hate.
I don't know of any religious people who say there could not be intelligent life on other planets.
The people who fear religious people are projecting their own fears on others, as is typical of human beings.
Whatever a human is doing wrong, or whoever they persecute for what they perceive the other believes, is normally what they are secretly doing wrong or secretly feel guilty about believing. I have found that true over and over in my long life and experience. I have seen many people persecute others for what they think they are, or are doing, only to turn out later, when all is revealed, to be obsessed and guilty of what they accuse others of.
For example: liberals and progressives are the most intolerant people around, while insisting they are the most loving, tolerant, intelligent, social justice loving people on the face of the earth. Liberals openly do their best to persecute, suppress and oppress anyone who dares to disagree with the slightest bit of liberal ideology. They deem people who disagree with them on issues, racists, sexists, homophobes, deplorable (Hillary), people who cling to their guns and bibles, (Obama), and even domestic terrorists (Biden). Liberals urge tech companies to censor all who don't agree with the ideology of liberalism, (demanding tech deem disagreement with Democrats to be hate speech or misinformation). They frequently demand the firing of those who simply disagree with their political ideology calling them spreaders of misinformation and hate speech.
Meanwhile, AOC calls a commercial about love, fascist.
they are afraid the intelligent life out there,
would be christian and wearing Jesus loves you shirts.
i'm kidding about the shirt thing, maybe.

In first century Judæa and Galilee, the name Yeshua (pronounced ye-SHOO-ah) was very common... The modern day Hebrew alphabet is actually the Chaldean or Babylonian letters, which replaced the Paleo-Hebrew script after the captivity....Different languages have sounds that others do not have, such as the sh sound in English does not exist in Spanish, and Americans have difficulty learning how to roll their rr’s in Spanish. The Gentiles of the Roman Empire spoke Greek and Latin, and simply could not pronounce Yeshua...The emphasis was placed on the first syllable and pronounced YAY-soos, since the Romans liked to accent the second from the last syllable....Everyone still pronounced it YEE-sus, however, and the official liturgical Latin its pronunciation remained YAY-soos. ... Germanic Anglo-Saxons converted the initial Latin I into the German J. They pronounced the name, however, as YAY-zoos,... The Normans influenced the pronunciation of the first letter of names beginning with the stylized I which looked like our modern J. They brought the French pronunciation of j (zh), which evolved into our English sound of j. When the commission was given for the first official translation of the Bible into English in the early 17th century, the Latin Jesus was carried over unchanged into the new English Bible. The average English citizen of the day probably pronounced the name JAY-zus, which ultimately evolved into our Modern English JEE-zus.

We have already been warned. Most probably the great deception.

The Coming Vatican ET Deception
Tom Horn has dedicated much of his life (and priced books) to the Vatican alien deception, along with other deceptions. But let me ask: WHERE IS IT? Why doesn't the Vatican announce publicly alien life exists? Based on its secret archives from pre-Babylonian time, for example? Based on modern day apparitions of Virgin Mary? Why would the Vatican poke our consciences if there is nothing more to say? If its doctrinal books have nothing to say about it? What are the roles of the angels for example, or that of the demons if you like? (why would we learn of the Nephilim from Tom Horn and not from the Catechism of the Catholic church? At the same time long pages are dedicated to explain to the young that the self gratitude is considered a mortal sin alleviated in certain circumstances, let alone other "worse" purely human behaviors. Condoms are still not freely allowed despite by their nature they don't do a single abortion).
A third gear Vatican prelate (i.e. not even a bishop) gives some interview every 10 years or so, that you see in the vast universe with billions galaxies there might be life created by the omnipotent God...Is that ALL? Interviews from 20 years ago (Corrado Balducci) tell us more than those from 10 years (Funes).
The Vatican is a lame duck, following the events better than the politicians do. It doesn't create history, as they boast from time to time. God's representative on earth the pope (as it is said) couldn't fulfill the prayer of Fatima to the letter to stop the war, couldn't reveal anything of the secrets (much more could be said of that topic).
And you expect the Vatican to usher a new era of ET disclosure, that Tom Horn and the like minded people would call the Great deception? I'd wish it be so! But it isn't, the sad truth is the Vatican is not up to its high responsibilities for all humankind or at least for its 1.3 billion followers, most of whom desperately need alleviation from their everyday misery.
The Vatican will go down the history, unless a miracle within the Vatican itself happens. Something like retiring half of all the cardinals and bishops or a similar bold action. We are not talking of anathematizing anyone of them, we are talking of retirement in luxurious residences with life-long pensions that most of us have never seen as a wage... It is just a shame of Biblical proportions! And I don't even touch upon all the sex scandals. Those people ruined the youth and the lives of millions innocent young men and women who wanted to follow the Gospel of Jesus and to tie up their life to that of the Catholic church structures. What will do a seminarian who was found unfit for priesthood (by that same corrupt structure) after serving more than 10 years (usually since childhood) of his best part of life? Does someone count all the ruined lives, apart of the sexual abuse? And not only those who follow priesthood. Obviously every one who attends Sunday mass finds the reason to do so. And the numbers shrink faster than ever. Some estimates for Europe are much below 10 percent attendance ONCE A YEAR, while the practicing devote people among that group are likely much less. I don't have statistics infront of me, I just share it as an example from recent publications online. It is not strange, when you have realized the Catholic church literally ate up much of your God-given life on earth for nearly nothing in return...because the sacraments are not a private property of the hierarchy after all they are a gift from God along with responsibility for those who administer them. Indeed, the good organs in the European cathedrals make a difference. But...are these literally built up by the hierarchy today? And why we feel worse and worse in the church to the point millions to abandon it for good?
And if I say now that the German, Netherlands, other bishops groups try to make a difference, I will be immediately attacked by exactly the conservative American catholics who see in that the devil himself...So I will spare them that opportunity. The devil is already manifested.
I hoped pope Francis would clean up the Church, with all expectations around his election and afterwards. Seems his strength is as much as we can see, on his 10th anniversary on the throne of Peter (March 13, 2023). Otherwise 10 years later we would not only know the secrets, we would be living a new life in a renewed world, as allegedly promised by Heaven in numerous apparitions far not only Fatima. It just doesn't happen. And keeps not happening, year after year, decade after decade. Almost like the Rapture theories that never happen...
Once that all must end. The 1.3 billion people who bet their eternal salvation on the words of the Catholic church, cannot be kept deceived. Also it is unrealistically to expect that everyone of them will leave the Catholic church to seek a better personal path, especially in the Third world where to belong to the Catholic church is also a social and in many cases material advantage. When you are so poor to count for your daily bread (as we pray), then you have no option to just leave, as many of us have in the developed West (or do we, really).
Instead of hundreds of millions leaving, let those responsible LEAVE! Let they be made to leave today, this year! What more to wait for? Fatima consecration failed big time. All doctrine is shuttering. Any attempt for a substantial change is being blocked by inert mass of bishops who do not want that change. Well....better they go than we go! The sooner it happens the better for that desperate world.
Let the guilty ones be expelled from the Jedi order, before the Jedi order itself collapses under the Sith Lord! It will be too late then. And most of us will never live that long to see it through, as the saga of Star Wars can go on and on to the happy end.
It is absurd that we still discuss those things in 21st century long after the Inquisition was over. Would be nice if the pope (whom I respect much) appoints innovative successors to be elected once he retires. There is a way, one of which is appointing many more cardinals as number and reformists. He knows what to do, as pope Benedict knew what to do when he retired and paved the way for pope Francis to be elected 10 years before he himself passed away.
There is a way, only I don't know if we have enough time, when all those half measures or no measures are being taken. Maybe the big doom is upon us first, in terms of a nuclear war...
All of that is not because there are Extraterrestrials, or because the Church wants to announce them (it doesn't actually). The Bible is full of those examples. Both good and evil. Let not seek the devil where he is not.edit on 17-2-2023 by Ezdra because: (no reason given)edit on 17-2-2023 by Ezdra because: (no reason given)
