This idea of people panicking like a hen house being visited by a fox has been amplified since War of the Worlds.

They even hired the Brookings Institute in the 1950's to explain how "that is the way it is" to the media and congress. They've been pretending that was 'the final word' ever since.

Thought Phage made a good post here about the Brookings Report.

Also an interesting statement below from Victor Marchetti (once executive assistant to the Deputy Director of the CIA).

• 'The purpose of the international conspiracy is to maintain a workable stability among the nations of the world and for them, in turn, to retain institutional control over their respective populations. Thus, for these governments to admit there are beings from outer space attempting to contact us, beings with mentalities and technological capabilities obviously far superior to ours, could, once fully perceived by the average person, erode the foundations of the Earth's traditional power structure. Political and legal systems, religions, economic and social institutions could all soon become meaningless in the mind of the public.

The national oligarchical establishments, even civilization as we know it, could collapse into anarchy. Such extreme conclusions are not necessarily valid, but they probably accurately reflect the fears of the "ruling class" of the major nations, whose leaders (particularly those in the intelligence business) have always advocated excessive governmental secrecy as being necessary to preserve "national security." The real reason for such secrecy is, of course, to keep the public uninformed, misinformed, and, therefore, malleable.'

The implication being that 21st century administration is a facade and people who demand civil rights, representation and democratic process are in denial of the reality that humans must be confined and instructed to sustain our vector as a species? And all that democracy and constitutional philosophy goes out the window the moment our leaders acknowledge a galactic socioeconomic superstructure?

Anarchy seems like a peculiar answer to sci fi wizardry, especially if it means metaphorically trading in your classic Firebird for Tesla EV because "progress".

As far as I can tell, religious people are waiting on the grand finale and will simply see any weirdness as something to tick off on the apocalypse bingo card.

In fact, I have not seen one believer talking violence or having their beliefs threatened by the possibility of discovering intelligent extraterrestrials.

Perhaps the government feels that it is a good enough crisis not to be wasted in order to implement something like the Patriot Act 2.0?

The governments thrive on manufactured crisis as a necessity to function these days.
Why, I ask you, is believing that fulfilled prophecies point to a creator God crazier than your theory that the Jews are orchestrating this all through the centuries with help from Ancient diabolical somethings that I don't believe you ever defined?

I don't think we are very far apart in what we personally perceive. Its of a same piece.

Forgive the levity, but I'd imagine it would go something like this:

Assuming these are aliens from a distant star system I'd have imagine a species that mastered Faster-Than-Light travel to screw with our Navy with shapeshifting orbs are somewhere far above Earth on that Kardeshev scale.

Humans have barely got to the point of validating Higgs Field symmetry breaking in mass creation. We're infants on the universal stage of understanding.

Religion is not a guarentee. Their theory of everything (level of understanding) which clearly exploits the fabric of the universe to physical ends, exists sevaral thousands of years ahead of Earth.

We could just be a stopover planet to exploit lush hydrogen resources. Or a backwoods world of universal hillfolk to research like humans research the jungle.

It is equal parts projection to assume they haven't answered the creation paradox as it is to assume a hyperintelligent species has no room for the metaphysical.

*But* if the largely irreligious astrophysicists and science-minded folk are any indication one could predict spirituality removes itself through empirical understanding, as it does on earth. Like how once man learned what eclipses were they stopped thinking the orange ball in the sky was sick or angry. Still projecting through a human lens though.

I think Earths religious narrative would survive and be expanded to include any subsequent alien species so long as what the aliens believe is never known.

It's not average believers who are to blame for TPTB'S actions but because their actions loosely follow the script of the end of times believers will interpret those actions to justify their beliefs and therefore adopt an attitude of 'there is nothing anyone can do about it except see it play out because it has been foretold' .

So in essence TPTB will be allowed to do whatever they want because 'muh endtimes'.

And just like that evil will flourish while good men sit around and do nothing.

What if I told them God wants them to kick ass and chew bubblegum for his glory in this life and not waste the gift of life they have been given?

What kind of lambs are willingly lead to slaughter?

People who ardently defend the whole "God will know his own" method, never heard of Arnaud Amalric.

The following is kind of pertinent as it was a survey by Col. John B. & Victoria Alexander through NIDS I believe.

The Alexander UFO Religious Crisis survey addresses just one of many problems facing the UFO Community: how would organized religions in the United States react to confirmation of contact with an advanced extraterrestrial civilization. The results of this pilot survey are straightforward and remarkably simple. The theologians surveyed would not feel their faith and the faith of their congregation would be threatened. The following results, based upon a 23% return (230 surveys) should have a significant and meaningful impact on the UFO Community, its doctrines and attitudes.

Religion & UFOS

Oh, there are intelligent non-humans. Entities, Principalities, and Powers beyond humans. Fallen Watchers who claimed to be Gods, Nephilim offspring etc.

Yes there are other entities, what bothers me is that the party in power always calls them evil, when the biblical god has killed more innocent people than any of the slandered ones.

Here you are believers, trying to convince us natural born non believers that a big guy is full of love and compassion...only to those who obey him.
That doesn't sit right with me at all, all my alarms are going off qhen good, friendly, peaceful, just, natural borns are bein killed in floods or turned over to a place where they get painfully tortured for all eternity.

I read the bible and revelations is a clear revelation of the Serpent yet trying again to save the enslaved humans from their oppressor who was firbidding commerce, arts and music.

All I see is our governments locking us all down, forcing us to take an experimental gene therapy, telling the believers that every doubter is evil and will die, whilst the obedient ones tell us they ate doing it for our own good.
Anyone disagreeing was shunned, cancelled, called names, including terrorist (thenew evils).

I personally go with the underdog, to me wanting humans to gain knowledge and stand on their own two feet is not evil at all.
Plus no genuinely benevolent, omniscient and omnipresent being would need to punish or resort to threats.
It would know why some are more suspicious, it would protect those who doubt just as much, because the evidence of it's benevolence would be as clear as it can be.

Only those who have hidden or nit so hidden agendas like power hungry humans need to threaten, kill and demand your total subservience.

Has this never bothered any of you believers? You moan about governments, yet still tow the line where your blinkers are still on.

If you wake up properly, you have ro do it entirely, not pick and choose.

God caused deaths in the bible: 3 odd millions (out of strop).
The wise Serpent: maybe 3 if that.

Duh, It's not even hidden.

Your ignorance of our beliefs forces me to respond.

Was Abram a believer when God revealed himself to him? Hint: no he wasn't, he was a "heathen" from Ur of the Chaldees.

Did Jesus die for believers sins? Or ALL the world?

Rom 5:8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

And it's the Book of Revelation, not Revelations.

I also love how you lump all the evil Christians together into one homogenous group...that was cool too.

I don't get it, why would the religious get violent over such a disclosure?
Do any religious books say only one intelligent race was created?
Even the angels were created. They are not from earth.
Yeah, I don't get this at all.

There is a very real battle being fought over the souls of men.

Evil exist.
Ying and yang.

The idea that there is probably more than one "creator" at large in the cosmos and society generally aren't confident about which one we should pledge allegiance to, on top of a few extremely confident types who don't know when to shut the # up.

As an aside:

It might conflict with religion if It turns out all life is created from the same soup. It also goes a long way to prove pamspermia if the aliens also have hydrogen-carbon bonds.

And what does that really say, theologically speaking, if it turns out ALL ORGANIC LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE revolves around the existence of carbon?

Not a favorable spot on the periodic table (theologically) if that turns out to be true. Unless they are salt creatures or something.

I simply read the OP and so am responding only to that.

Most religious people I know, and I know thousands do not fear "extraterrestrials". Nor would the revelation of extraterrestrials shake their faith in God, who in their eyes made a huge universe with many planets and solar systems.

As a matter of fact, every single religious person I know says and believes that God could easily have created many other habitable planets with other life forms on it, even intelligent.

FYI: Many planets with intelligent life is the basis of the Mormon faith, which I am not but have friends who are. Mormons definitely believe in extraterrestrials and it would only make them thrilled and reinforce their faith to discover it is true.

While it is true that today's Democratic Party run government seems to openly, despise, fear religious people, even hate them. AOC's latest paranoid explosion about the Super Bowl commercial is an eye opening reflection of that hate.

I don't know of any religious people who say there could not be intelligent life on other planets.

The people who fear religious people are projecting their own fears on others, as is typical of human beings.

Whatever a human is doing wrong, or whoever they persecute for what they perceive the other believes, is normally what they are secretly doing wrong or secretly feel guilty about believing. I have found that true over and over in my long life and experience. I have seen many people persecute others for what they think they are, or are doing, only to turn out later, when all is revealed, to be obsessed and guilty of what they accuse others of.

For example: liberals and progressives are the most intolerant people around, while insisting they are the most loving, tolerant, intelligent, social justice loving people on the face of the earth. Liberals openly do their best to persecute, suppress and oppress anyone who dares to disagree with the slightest bit of liberal ideology. They deem people who disagree with them on issues, racists, sexists, homophobes, deplorable (Hillary), people who cling to their guns and bibles, (Obama), and even domestic terrorists (Biden). Liberals urge tech companies to censor all who don't agree with the ideology of liberalism, (demanding tech deem disagreement with Democrats to be hate speech or misinformation). They frequently demand the firing of those who simply disagree with their political ideology calling them spreaders of misinformation and hate speech.
Meanwhile, AOC calls a commercial about love, fascist.

they are afraid the intelligent life out there,

would be christian and wearing Jesus loves you shirts.
i'm kidding about the shirt thing, maybe.

The reason is, because the governments and military honestly do not know what they are

10+ years ago when I first encountered orbs of light, the U.S Military was all over my home city in Australia

They were chasing these lights around on the ocean, and in the skies

I've seen the orbs play with the fighter jets. They sit and wait for them to catch up, before flying off ahead of them. Covering a distance in 1 or 2 seconds, that would take the fighter jet a full minute or more to catch up

Even their weapons would be as slow as a snail in comparison. I do not see it as even being possible to shoot them down. I think they could literally fly circles around the missile

I've communicated directly with these orbs, who identified themselves as "Anunnaki", and they told me very definitively, that they have no interest in communicating with any religion, military or government

They told me, they have no interest in anyone who, quote, "has fear in their hearts". Nor with anyone who seeks to identify, use, or align with them for selfish reasons

Something to do with those in power being "the deceivers"

They refer to them as "Those with their cup already full". Which I take to mean, they cannot be taught. So it pointless even communicating with them

They watch them, keep an eye on them, but they will not communicate with them

On the contrary, as far as I'm aware, they go out of their way to ensure the governments and military have nothing of the things many people think they do

To the point of altering the fabric of reality if needed, or ensuring that their technology does not work, to keep them impotent

The only reason they said they communicated with me, is because I was not afraid of them and I went out of my way to work out a way to communicate with the orbs when I saw them, instead of just freaking out and/or trying to film them

Something I'm told made me "Interesting" to them. Because very few people (none, I'm told) have the presence of mind to try establish communication when they see them

They've taught me allot over the last 10 years about everything. Misunderstood principles of physics, religion, philosophy, creation, this world, future tech, everything

What is coming is nothing like the fear and propaganda we are being sold

Religion will end, because the Bible will be correctly translated, and it will be irrefutable, compared to the current version

You do not need worry about them

Even if it came down to the situation you are suggesting, they would only kill themselves out of fear anyways

Look at that took place when "War of the worlds" was broadcast and people thought it was real

They killed themselves and their children. Things such as this

They will only hurt themselves, so I wouldn't worry

Hmm, so which is true? Your story or this guy's story from a military perspective:

2.14.2023 (Happy Valentine's Day!)

Concerned Governors were briefed this evening by the Biden Administration on the recent UFO shoot-downs...

White House tells governors 'thousands' of objects in the skies aren't aliens, could be used car lot balloons.

The flying objects number in the 'hundreds, if not thousands,' and could be anything from 'used car lot balloons' to aircraft launched by commercial enterprises, a White House official said.
Source: www.foxnews.com...

So many people who talk to Joe Biden, say they feel "insulted" afterwards.

I.E.: "We're shooting down Used Car Lot Balloons, and You DO NOT have a NEED TO KNOW why it's critical to national security!"

We are very close to the same observations yeah.

Not all Jews, there is a custodian class among them who might hail from earlier epochs and they managed to retain the wisdom of the ages.

Our current civilization might suffer the same fate as Atlantis and again the wisdom of the ages and the true history of things will be preserved by a select few.

While most groupings of people will then go through the same slow and steady struggle of progress there will be inventions and ideologies forming always when such time necessitates them.

Some civilizations removed by vast distances across continents showcasing the same knowledge and wisdom through their architectural marvels thousands of years ago indicate to me an elite group of people who had access to the same higher knowledge.

If this is possible, then it is possible that prophecies are a way to recognize mankind's inevitable collapse even as they progress steadily forward.

That's why no one can accurately give the correct hour when it all collapses because it's like cracks in a dam wall.

During the age of Taurus the religious iconography favored the symbolism of a bull.

Sacred Bull

Then during the early stages of the Abrahamic religions it was the age of Aries, symbolized by a ram from about 2000BC till 0AD.

Aries was followed by Pisces and the fish symbology can be found in Christianity during this time.

All of this tells me there is a song and dance that specifically plays out during each age of an epoch.

It is bigger than any one religion and it follows a timeline of roundabout 25,000+ plus years.

The astrological ages are based on the precession of the equinoxes and the backwards wobble of the earth's axis through the constellations, which lie in a circle around the earth along the ecliptic, the belt of the equator. Ages are measured by the wobble of the earth's axis as the North Pole points down towards and marks each age or constellation in succession. This wobble takes 25,920 years to complete, and in one complete cycle there are twelve ages of 2,160 years each. Currently, that marker points to the constellation Pisces, and we are said to be in the 'Age of Pisces'. These ages flow backward through the astrological signs as the earth's axis wobbles in a precessional or backward direction through the zodiac.

source

So if we are going through cycles or ages that make up an epoch and there have been many epochs before then at one point you have to get to a place where there is either a God or an advanced race of extraterrestrials that created us, then abandoned us but left us with enough of its rituals in order for us to create a cargo cult that to this day have taken on the role of our secret rulers.

So if history repeats itself through cycles that repeat itself through epochs that repeat itself possibly through planetary events that repeat itself...

.... then prophecy is merely an indicator of the knowledge that what is and what will be have already happened before and it will do so again.

As you can see it's a work-in-progress theory but the one that speaks to me at this point in time.
