The 'propulsion' of a balloon is not the same as what lifts it. Conventional balloons don't have propulsion - rather - they take advantage of winds and air currents, like the jetstream. This requires control over ascent/descent. When you start adding motors to a balloon for propulsion, it becomes an airship.

One of the 'objects' covered 1200 miles in 6 hours, giving it an average speed of 200mph. 100mph of this velocity could possibly be explained away by air currents it was utilising. Even if this were the case, there is still approximately 100mph of velocity unaccounted for, which must have come from some form of propulsion system on at least one of the octagonal shaped objects.

The mystery there is: the pilot's did not observe any form of propulsion system.

If these things are Chinese, the large balloons were obviously a distraction.

If the objects are not Chinese, then there is a real question over who the hell put them in the sky. Perhaps they are part of a black project OR possibly something even more exotic than that.

Sensible money is something previously unknown, spying on CONTUS by a foreign power. That's not something the military will want to talk about for a multitude of reasons and might best explain why there has been so much vagueness over the matter.

The US Airforce/NORAD might sooner want to plant the UAP seed of plausible deniability, rather than expose the limits of their Intel.

If you don't see a great big smoking hole in the earth's crust between Canada and Mexico, it probably wasn't alien space crafts.

What kind of things can these balloons detect? I am thinking they are shooting the balloons to stop them from seeing things they are planning.

I think they are creating a hole in a defense line to pass something through or let something through undetected. Like what the Apaches did in the gulf war.

Testing the winds... nuclear, bio, chemical fallout pattern mapping stipulates it.

We blew up Nordstream, we admitted it. The Chinese are sending thousands a month across the US/Mexican border, our government shoots down 4 Chinese surveillance balloons in just over a week, we're sending weapons to one of the most corrupt eastern European countries in it's war with Russia and NATO is overstepping it's authority in this conflict... We have all this going on while the WEF talks of implementing strategies that will lead to depopulation and a centralized world government. What is the best way to implement mass depopulation? World War? Talk of UFO's is a distraction for dummies. It's a buzzword to grab attention away from what's going on right under everyone's nose. You think we'd never go to war with China? You think China isn't stupid enough to start a war with us? Do you think sleeper cells of Chinese nationalists crossing the border in droves couldn't set up throughout the US and perform guerilla warfare on our infrastructure? How would we mobilize during power outages, internet and cell tower blackouts with the chaos that would surely ensue from such activities? Do you think all these wealthy world leaders don't agree the world needs to be depopulated? Who exactly do you think THEY think needs to be gotten rid of, who gets sacrificed? We're headed for another world war. You're watching the beginning of it right now, but what are you really paying attention to? Are you paying attention to the theater, the distraction, or are you looking at all the little ducks lining up in a neat little row?

If it was real aliens we probably wouldn't be having these discussions. Especially after we just committed an act of war against them.

They are likely collecting ELectronic INTelligence. They may also be collecting imagery.

According to the U.S. government, the first one was a Chinese spy balloon. The next three were UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon).

Historically we've never been able to technically match the capabilities of UAPs or UFOs. Infact there are many stories of them shooting our craft down or being the culprit in disappearing aircraft. Where did we get the tech to all of a sudden shoot them down? C'mon, be smarter than that. These aren't alien craft. A distraction isn't needed when the media does a good enough job of hiding truthful information about those issues. So, it's not a distraction.
