Bill Burr is a weak sorry prick who would be the guy ratting people out to the neighborhood warlord and getting his cut. He’s the perfect example of what is truly wrong with human kind. He’s not even funny with his phony outrage and phony anger. He’s another Denis Leary to be frank. Just smart enough to be clever. He like so many other pro vaccine retards is only thinking of his income stream. That is the last person in the world you want telling you anything.

Which is the real issue here. You don’t tell anyone what you have. Never bother to let anyone know where you have anything and never ever trust another living soul to keep their mouth shut. Not even your family. If you have children, friends, family or acquaintances that know anything about your back up plans or supplies, they will rat you out. They will in order to survive. Which is why prepping in all honesty should be a solo affair where you do all the prepping, and never tell anyone what you are up to.

I have given a lot of thought to all of this and figured out pretty quickly that in a post apocalypse scenario, you will have absolutely no one you can trust completely. While that may be a pretty bleak or dark way to view the world, it’s probably accurate. a reply to: putnam6

In my last post here I was describing the rule of three in regards to bug out bags. I feel the need to mention that each bag, the three hour, three day and three week bag, will need to be tailored to the current season, so you'd need to repack the bags every season (3 months). Of course the dig in supplies will need to cover all the seasons.

Also, the three hour daily carry bag could be as large as say a jock bag or small soft backpack, or it may be as small as a fanny pack or even an Altoids tin. That too will depend on your immediate situation, but you can carry all kinds of things in your pockets and on your person in addition to any specific BOB.

Even though each bag will have some redundant items, it is also possible and desirable to have each kit complement the others and then combining them. For example, the daily carry added to the three day bag (likely a back pack) added to the three week bag (large plastic totes perhaps) that is all loaded into a car or boat or if on foot into a wagon or wheelbarrow.

If the bomb hits I'm dead anyway.

Another depressing consideration is all of the nuclear reactors being left unattended.

Or the bio/chem labs all over the country losing their containment shield and letting loose all sorts of pathogens.

What will you have in your BOB to protect you and your family from that. Death will spread on the slightest breeze. The living will envy the dead.

Would it be a matter of just staying clear of nuclear plants (like Chernobyl) and universities/chemical laboratories where the suspected escaped pathogen may be in the air? surfaces? After all don't these pathogens need hosts to reproduce and spread?

If you’ve watched the turn of events and read history going back thousands of years you’re a fool to not prepare for harder times. I don’t care if it’s the collapse of the American empire or a depression or a natural disaster being prepared is better than sitting on your fat ass in a cold house contemplating your last can of green beans. To each his own but I guarantee if things get really #ty those that have prepared aren’t going to be at all eager to share with those that did nothing except take vacations and buy overpriced clothes and trinkets.

Steady food, clean drinking water, and medical supply and knowhow will be the struggle. Transportation will be limited more and more as well.

Personal health, habits, and fitness are currently priority. Canned and dried food will only go so far. Manual (not electric or gas) tools need to be owned and in good shape.

Healthy acquaintances with neighbors and community need to be strengthened.

A good resource library should be in every home and community.

Wow!

That looks great and brings back some found memories.

My grandmother used to make the best wine in the county. Folk traveled a many miles for her wine.

She made wine out of almost everything that fell in the category of "plant".

Her dandelion wine, and her elderberry wine were there ones I remember most folk coming for.

I wouldn't waste my time trying to survive in an even sicker, crazier world. I would just pray and wait for life to end.

I know a lot of people that say that, I think mostly people dont understand what that innate survival instinct will push you to do to survive, or to make certain those you love survive.

Yes and no.

When I was in the military I had to go through chemical warfare training. We had to spend a whole day in a chemical warfare hazmat suit. We were paired, for support and to stop you teammate from removing their suit, because for some it was too much and they would attempt to take it off. If you or your teammate took off their suit, you both failed, and you would have to do it again until you passed.

At some point as an officer, you had to choose someone to risk taking off their mask to see if the air was safe.

You had two kinds of airmen. The one that would fight to prevent you from removing their mask, and the one that was fed up, and willingly volunteered to remove their mask.

I started out as a fighter. If you came for my mask there was going to be more than one person missing a mask in the end. But after a while I thought about my family. If I had reason to believe that they were all taken out. I would not make anyone remove their mask, to test the quality of the air. I would have just assigned another leader and removed mine.

I too don't want to life in the sick crazy world that we are likely endure, and my survival instinct is strong. But as an old lady I think I would have no trouble taking the long walk, if it would mean life for a family member or anyone younger, stronger, and healthier than me.

I truly pray that if that time ever came, I would be brave enough to walk with boldness.

A lot of us are prepared to die when that day finally comes! Not much to live for anyways because this world 100% belongs to the 1% not the rest of us suckers who let them get there and take over everything! I'm hoping the Sun takes us all out first and very soon too!

That is the trick you never know how things will be on the other side of the collapse, it could be like that denzel movie, or it might not, enough good people could band together to make the world a better place.

Until I am planted I will fight, for my family first and if god forbid they die before me I will continue to fight to keep their memory alive within me.

Bless you.

I am too old and too broken to be much more than a hindrance and a useless eater. I lived a good and very blessed life. I am ready for whatever comes next. God willing.

Might I also suggest plotting different places to bug out to in different directions. Places that are away from likely targets which might also have a water source. Use your imagination and common sense when looking at a map. Before the SHTF, GO THERE and physically check it out. Then think about filling 3 to 4 5-gallon buckets with supplies (use a gamma lid) and bury/hide them in strategic places where you can access them later. Document their location and keep it handy in your bug-out bag so a family member or trusted person can find it, if needed. Some basics to include:

Tarp
Mylar Emergency Blankets
Protein packets (like tuna)
Matches or firestarter
Knife
Water bottle or canteen
Paracord
Fishing Yo-yos, hooks, line
snare
ammunition
stainless steel camp cook set
basic first aid kit
warm socks
dry bag
batteries
flashlight

Dont get me wrong I am at the middle aged/starting old stage where my minid still thinks I can do a week long back country hike, and my dodgy back bum knee torn rotator cuff are saying try it old man and die.

Havent quite grasped that the mind can be willing but the body can grow weak at the fundamental level.

I don’t think it is smart to disclose information that is meant to be kept secret. The last thing I would want; is other people (nice name for marauders) knowing who has food, medicine, shelter and water. Always keep that information to yourself, “Loose Lips Sink Ships”. In fact, don”t even discuss your knowledge and preparedness situation with people unless it is absolutely necessary. One of your main objectives in a shtf situation, is to become insignificant and invisible, become the last person someone thinks about when desperation runs rampant.
