That's not a stupid question at all, but you have to remember about active sonar and how absolutely destructive it is to living creatures. A whale would rather dry out on land then be blasted with active sonar. Militaries use the most powerful active sonar and they don't care for things like oceanic wildlife. They call it collateral damage and continue the operation. Of course they won't confess their operation caused the damage, and would benefit greatly from any pseudoscience red-herring.

Update from Genes observatory, the North magnetic pole has definitely stopped and is now tracking West. If it gets to a collapse he reckons they will have to ground all aircraft. In his opinion cancer rates will go through the roof, strange how the health system is under attack at this time, he might have a contributing factor to Cardio cancer-related issues.

This guy is full of doom porn. There are multiple explanations and data as to the interpretation of the recent data. Sabine's video above is an excellent source (she always is).
I dislike people like maverickstar because they don't stick to the science. The funniest part of that video is his comment that everyone should be "doing something about this" and "game over" (at 7:35 m). If his speculation was correct (and it isn't), what in the hell would he expect anyone to do about it? Move the magnetic core?
