I work with about a thousand people. I’m up the chain high enough to know how many of the employees opted for testing rather that getting vaccinated. It’s about 18%.

That’s in a city that leans left politically.

In rural areas I’m estimating it’s more like 30 to 40%.

In our province’s other large city, which is more right leaning the protests were much larger so I would assume probably north of 20% aren’t vaccinated.

By the way, welcome to the splashing

a pollutant is a pollutant n matter what it is presented as?

the difference between a poison and a medicine is dose.

i don't agree clearly with how the government as a whole delt with the covid shots and i had to get mine early for the job i have. I went to school for over a decade and have over a million in student debt and a house and a brand new kid.

I had a choice to take or not take the shot but im not going to be selfish and put my family into hard times because of fear.

i will die every time to protect my family.

be it from a vaccine/therapeutics or a bullet.

if your dead your dead doesnt matter how you got there in the end once your in the ground and forgotten.

also social responsibility is an interesting facet of this conversation.

like i said at the end of the day i know i am in the clear and everyone i know has had zero long term effects.

as Spok said 'The needs of the many, out weigh the needs of the few.

Your post above is a list of excuses why you complied with tyranny.

No sources or documentation will help you see that if you don’t already.

There is a difference between those that had to and are p!ssed off and those that had to and try and defend it, calling others liars.

We had vaccine passports and the employees had to put them on file. Those that didn’t had to show their papers every two days.

And you are right, we have similar laws to HIPPA. Which made this totally wrong.

You do understand HIPPA is a law that protects patients records and such right?

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) is a federal law that required the creation of national standards to protect sensitive patient health information from being disclosed without the patient’s consent or knowledge.

HIPPA

Summary of the privacy rules

So while patients records are protected under the act...patients do not have a HIPPA record...no such thing exists!

A lot of reading for you there! Not stories...now that we've established you don't like those!

my doctor is my dad and my sister

I cannot for the life of me imagine how this is possible!

Even more interesting than anything so far tonight on ATS...I would like an explanation to this family dynamic!

I've heard of some strange things in the South...but this blows my mind...I have to know more!

different legal and medical service systems, most of us don't have state insurance and pay for good insurance there is alittle more care and time taken with US ER visits. I broke my wrist in london and it was like running a gauntlet to get my arm fixed.

as a doctor you can see your medical history

a random person cant ask you anything about your private medical history.

I'm 76 years old and never got the jab and never will. My wife, my 2 sons and my 3 grandchildren (ages 6, 5, 2) all got the jab. They are OK so far but we had major battles over this whole thing. My wife and one of my sons did get Covid and so did I. We all got over it and in my case it really was only 3 days of being sick and I have had the flu before that was worse than covid. I would say that most of my friends also got the vaccine (at least 80% or so of them) one (so far) has had a heart problem since then. I live in a small rural California community and the local hospital won't let me in without a mask and gave me the evil eye when my wife recently had a minor procedure done and I wanted to be with her. They wouldn't allow me in to the recovery room....total stupidity and it amazes me how if you have had the shots and can still pass around covid that this stupidity still stands. At this point, I am kind of worried thou that if I get sick they will not treat me. Those of us that are unvaxxed are probably going to be in big trouble soon but personally, I had just as soon die as to get the jab

It is going to be a long winter.

Got a text last night that another family member that been sick, recovered, sent home, and she was supposedly back to normal, just fell dead. Was informed last night by a friend that her daughter's best friend collapsed, and had to be rushed to surgery for heart surgery, for a heart condition she was not known to have had, and had always thought to be healthy and active. Just got a call from one of our volunteers. She wasn't feeling well so her doctor told her to come in. He tested her, she has COVID. Again. For the third time. All of them vaccinated. But almost all my friends and family are vaccinate.

It seems like the number of funerals per week is growing rapidly. I hope this trending stops, very soon.

It’s mind boggling how anyone could reason that we have been give a just and equitable “choice” when things like medical treatment, employment, freedom to travel, etc sit on one side of the balance scale.

Again, you came up with about 20% unvaccinated, which is what I’m seeing as well.

The Milgram Experiemnt

The Milgram experiment(s) on obedience to authority figures were a series of social psychology experiments conducted by Yale University psychologist Stanley Milgram. They measured the willingness of study participants, 40 men in the age range of 20 to 50 from a diverse range of occupations with varying levels of education, to obey an authority figure who instructed them to perform acts conflicting with their personal conscience.

Participants were led to believe that they were assisting an unrelated experiment, in which they had to administer electric shocks to a "learner". These fake electric shocks gradually increased to levels that would have been fatal had they been real.[2]

en.wikipedia.org...

The experiment found, unexpectedly, that a very high proportion of subjects would fully obey the instructions, with every participant going up to 300 volts, and 65% going up to the full 450 volts.

Thirty percent or so will not be vaccinated. Those that dont blindly obey the authority.

I keep bringing this up because I believe that it is relevant. Deagle's population forecast for 2025 has the US population being reduced by 70%. In the mid-twenty-teens they released a forecast that saw world population drop by something like 80% overall. The US population was predicted to drop from 319,000,000 at that time to 65,000,000 by 2025.

So, what you are saying is housing prices are going to rock!

Won't mattet, becsuse "you will own nothing and be happy," dammit!

These were the statistics from 8/31/22 for USA.

At least 262,908,216 people or 79% of the population have received at least one dose.

Overall, 224,113,439 people or 68% of the population are considered fully vaccinated.

Additionally, 108,806,974 people or 33% of the population have received a booster dose.

By my recknoning, as of 1/18/23, that is still more than 70 million who opted for a 4th shot, more than 20% of the USA pop.

Routine uptake of the shot looks like it went from 80% to 20%. Looks like most people aren't sold on the annual vaccination drive.

Better call in the RCMP to trample on the masses.

Last time I remember seeing rates for the covid shots was maybe over the summer. I think it was around 60-65%.

Remember that many people have now had 3, 4, and 5 doses.

Yes, exactly. I do remember it was nearly 50/50 by the time it rolled out, by the time everyone who wanted it, had it. Then another 20 or 25% was added once they did the pass, and you couldn't travel or go to a movie etc., or lose your job. But it's at least 25% unvaccinated. And the newest uptake figure for the latest booster is 16%.

Most people who have not received the Covid vaccine are not “unvaccinated”. Just not vaccinated for Covid. a reply to: Antimony
