Only 2 planes airborne within 100 miles of Atlanta

Only 2 planes airborne within 100 miles of Atlanta, I know it's early but that seems unlikely for one of the worlds' busiest airports

That is weird. JIA is right near that circle and I know many planes should be traveling in that direction from there.

It filling back in, now. Live webcam looked normal. who knows... it has 10 planes now ...

One thought came to mind. Maybe something else flying in that area that they cleared all that other sky traffic out for.
I'm assuming this is something you keep an eye on, or watch for some reason. That's why it stood out to you?

Woke up to ice on the car this morning. Maybe weather is a factor this morning.

Sometimes, though a few years ago Zaphod and/or Bigburgh mentioned

globe.adsbexchange.com...and check out if something stands out,

so sometimes late at night, I'll pull up and check it out. Hell sometimes I'll do it with the Marine Traffic Tracker, they both help put me back to sleep.

Good point we had a decent cold snap, enough where they might have needed to de-ice some incoming planes.
