There was a social contract, where certain behaviors guaranteed certain outcomes regardless of and in spite of your political leanings.

Do x, expect y.

That formula has been abandoned and the social contract has been dishonored by those at the top at the expense of everyone else, even those who side with the elites trying to bask in their reflected 'glory'.

Thanks for this OP. I never truly understood gaslighting.

I guess that as it applies to US politics, I really don't understand why gaslighting matters. Its just lying by a different method and that's pretty much all they do, lie. They are compulsive liars and they lie at every turn. No one believes anything they say anymore; it's all discounted as lies.

And as to all the political lying and the lying on the part of the Government Media outlets as all those lies applies to US politics, what does that matter? US politics doesn't do anything except keep the powerful in power and to enrich the elites. Its basically a closed loop maintained in power by lies eaten up by the unthinking, the clueless and the brainwashed. Put another way, a sucker is born every minute. If YOU are NOT a sucker, why would you be interested in the lies and politics of those who's only interest in life is to take advantage of the suckers? It's kinda like standing on street corners in NYC and watching muggers asault their hapless victims......daily and endlessly watching. After a while you gotta get tired of that and reallize it's same crap day in and day out.

If the lies and gaslighting in the furtherance of politics bothers you.......LOOK AWAY! There's nothing you can do about it anyway.

gas lighting works on the gullible and weak minded and it's a taught behavior ( get them while their young and away from their folks). from the looks of what has happened in the U.S. in the past 25 30 years, there's a lot of those in the U.S. now. at age group their in. here's a hint, most were born after 1970.

Somehow I think burying our heads in the sand is not going to bode well for us.

My OP was focused on America but it's happening worldwide, and because of those lies we're bound to pay a heavy price.

WW3 is looming on the horizon.

If the lockdowns showed us how those in authority positions cannot resist the temptation of a power grab, it's going to get infinitely worse as more countries face energy problems and disrupted trade routes.

We're going down the darkest road and for the life of me I simply cannot look away as untold numbers of people are going to die very soon if the globalists have their way.

As sad as it is, and as much as an optimist I once was prior to understanding the dynamics which are at play here, I must say it. It is a perfect symbol of the bulk of humanities level of consciousness. It's easy to get isolated into bubbles forgetting how dense we actually are.

This is why we should conduct social experiments in cities upon unsuspecting people. Ask them questions such as do you trust the media? Do you believe taxation is theft? Do you support ethnic cleansing? Do you support child trafficking pedophilic murderous psychopaths? Or maybe not those last two. Keep it basic and quick. If you want to ask 1000 people 3 questions, better keep it quick.

I have engaged handfuls of strangers around the tenets of Satanism, the Church of Satan, and secret societies at play globally. You'd be surprised how most of us actually unconsciously directly identify/embody these primary tenets.

I think with gaslighting, you have to have had an independent idea, thought, or belief that is attacked in an attempt to make one question their sanity or competency.

Folk that are deceived, programmed or controlled, and accepting of the BS, I don't really think they fall in that category. Some of us are just too gullible, trusting, and weak minded, but they are not gaslighted. They are just compliant with the BS.

Few will question anything they are presented. So they will never question their own thought, I think that kinda makes them gaslight proof.

Bones, Thank you for your interesting post on how the controllers have sone thus gaslighting psyops on the people en masse. I do have to call you out on one item. You have demonized an awful lot of parents. Yes there has been bad parenting, but generations of children have been getting vaxxed since birth, and it’s gotten worse since the 80’s. I think it’s way more complicated. Big Pharma !
But while we are talking about who’s to blame …. We have a society now telling children that they must question their gender ! This is becoming a genuine institutional abuse signed on to by those we are supposed to entrust with the care of our children. What is the institution’s solution ? Mutilation and drugs.
