After reading the interaction that an astrophysicist (Harvard University) had with the U.S. government, I'm not so sure they are covering anything up, except maybe classified military projects.

The interaction was between the U.S. government, the Harvard U. Prof. and one of his students, regarding the identification of flyby objects from the specialized telescope in Hawaii, was such that the government allowed the Prof. and student access to classified information and it ended with the government agreeing with the Prof. and student's assessments of the objects as not being comets nor asteroids. So the government is working with this astrophysicist at any rate.

He believes the government likely doesn't know much about the objects they're observing, and is mostly concerned with national security -- determining if the objects are from another country.

Loeb says it should be in the hands of scientists to collect their own data with instruments they can monitor and take that information to share with the public.

In his own words, if just 1 report is of alien origin it will be the most important discovery humanity has ever made.

"Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) said "we've been covering this up since the 40s," adding to NewsNation on Saturday that he doesn't "trust [the] government

Did I miss something? He a congressman! He is the government.

No. he isn't the government. That's a poor stretch of logic that I've seen elsewhere on this thread. Are you responsible for the decisions of your employer or any other organization to which you belong?

That makes no sense or relation what so ever!

He IS the government. How is he not? I don't even want to go into breaking this apart because it's that silly.

If you work as law enforcement, are you not a police officer? If paint yourself red, are you not red?

He's a government official, yet he's not government?

*sigh* You're thinking like a democrat!

Uhhh, he's a Republican. In Tennessee. The progressive vote doesn't even register on his radar.

Nor is he the first congressperson to discuss UFO's. But he's not shattering any new ceilings here.

Republicans can be just as greedy .
This is all about popularity .

Military aircraft. Civilian aircraft. Commercial aircraft. All fall out of the sky and seem to be photographed and documented in detail.

ET crashing all over and the Govt/Mil is able to avoid public images/evidence 100% of the time. The same Govt/Mil that can’t walk & chew gum.

Oh yeah, even globally coordinated Govt/Mil has 100% success of fully shielding all ET crashes. Even the ones that happened before 1400’s. You know, when there wasn’t any Govt/Mil.

So, the same global Mil/Govt’s are James Bond level good at ET suppression but Barney Fife when it comes to everything else.

Then again, maybe the interstellar/multi dimensional traveling species opted to send the Lenny & Squiggy’s of their fleet to explore Earth. I’m sure that’s the case.

It's not a "cover up". The Director of National Intelligence said in 2022 that the government simply doesn't understand and can't explain the UFO craft...let alone their navigators.

The longer a serious lie lives, the damage that is done to keep it a secret grows exponentially and it is the disclosure of that baggage that is far worse than the original issue. Certainly a case of "Be careful what you wish for."

Skepticism is good, if we weren't around, people would believe anything without proof. I would also like to point out, this guy is a member of the government that he doesn't trust LOL

He was elected by WE THE PEOPLE, not commissioned or appointed by "big brother" huge difference there IMO
