On this day in 1929, future pastor & civil rights leader Michael Luther King Jr. was born. (Changed it to "Martin" later.) Today would be his 94th birthday.

More about MLK Jr.: www.nobelprize.org...

Martin Luther King, Jr. served as co-pastor with his father, at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, from 1960 until he was assassinated in 1968.

If a trivia quiz game were to ask, "Who was the first and only sitting U.S. President to deliver a Sermon at the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, where Martin Luther King was a Pastor?", MOST Americans would confidently say, "Barack Obama"!

WELL, they would be WRONG, because;

JOE BIDEN delivered remarks Sunday from Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, becoming the first sitting president to deliver a Sunday sermon from the historic church where civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. served as pastor until his assassination in 1968.

“You’ve been around for 136 years – I know I look like it, but I haven’t,” Biden joked, calling King one of “my only political heroes” since entering public service.

In remarks from the pulpit, the president referred to the current moment in American history “the time of choosing.”

“Are we a people who choose democracy over autocracy? You couldn’t ask that question 15 years ago, right?

You would’ve thought democracy was settled – not for African Americans, but democracy as an institutional structure was settled.

But it’s not, it’s not,” he said.

You can view President Biden's Sermon here...Starting at 45min-27sec, where U.S. Senator/Pastor Raphael Warnock has to show Joe Biden how to grip and turn-on the hand-held microphone.

I wonder why President Barack Hussein Obama turned down every invitation to speak at a Sunday Church Service at the most historic church in Black American history? He was in office 8 full years, which provided him with 400 Sundays (50x8) to honor Martin Luther King and the Black community, in this way.

I think Joe really does have a double after seeing this current picture. In this picture, he does NOT look well.

Unfortunate that it couldn't have been an honest man who gave such a "sermon".

Maybe just give the man credit for doing something halfway sensible instead of actively looking for reasons to hate him, because this is definitely not one of them.

RIP Mr King

It depends on if it's a real church or a fake church.

The Catholic Church gave Joe its blessings last year. The Catholic Church is king of the hill.

I haven't found any people who look for reasons to hate Mr. King. But I'm sure there are a few out there.

Barack was trying too hard to not be seen as a "black President". He also famously never spoke at the NAACP convention. This is one of the reasons many in the black community thought he was ineffective.

You can bet if we elect a Hispanic, Indian or Chinese President, he/she will invest some time and resources in their United States ethnic communities.

A Marxist pope who is despised by his priests gave Biden his blessing. That is different.

Joe Biden has no business even going inside a Church. He isn't repenting anytime soon, so it's sacrilege on his part to even go in there.

This is just a pandering optics move on Biden's part. OBVIOUSLY.

No...a VOTE held by top U.S. Bishops last year, made Joe Biden a "GOOD MAN".

The government is telling us plebians all the time that we can't mix church and state. It's high time churches did the same to the state. What the heck business does our current president have trying to preach? Throw the bum out of our churches and keep the church and state separate.

"It's for the good of the children."
