He has done a deal with Blackrock and Vanguard for the rebuilding of Ukraine after the war, they must all be salivating at the money they could make. This does tend to the theory that Putin has just made the old gang richer with yet another war, Putin looks like he is good for business.

Churchill was no saint, but much closer than the thief masquerading as a hero is. I can't help but wonder how much of the billions of dollars sent to Ukraine is finding its way into his, or his shopaholic wife's, pockets.

England would have been sieged by Hitler's forces, the Nazis, had it not been for Churchill begging for help from the USA, against the likes of Neville Chamberlain, to get emotionally involved, pulling emotional family strings via every tool and gadget he could access, including radio, cinema and flying to Washington DC to address Congress and beg for aid.

I'm well aware of the history involved.

Churchill was a master politician, to accomplish what he did over the course of a lifetime in the political landscape of the early to mid 20th century. His like isn't in the world today--Zelensky isn't in his weight class.
