"Mind where you're pointing that cross , Comrade"

The image was released by the Kremlin to show Tsar Putin attending an Orthodox Christmas Eve service , what it shows is a sad isolated leader alone with a priest rather than a strong leader attending the service with his supporters , he cuts a sad and lonely figure as he stands in his coat fists clenched probably due to the pain of the cross burning into his soul.

Putin will have the photographer thrown in the gulag.

Not very flattering or "media" friendly.

I wouldn't blame him, I mean, atrocious.

Putin will have the photographer thrown in the gulag.

You mean blame someone else for his own mistake ?
It wouldn't be the first time.

LOL.

Are we pretending our own leaders don't do that? He's no different.

Wouldn't be the last time, either.

The photographer has no sense of "framing" or waiting for his subject to be photogenic (might take awhile and some bondo and spraypaint, lol).

I mean, they should have brought a Polar Bear in to accompany him, at least.

Not at all , but our prisons aren't filled with those who point out or protest the source of those mistakes.

Our prisons here in Canada are. Maybe not full, but that's hyperbole, anyway.

Ever hear of Tamara Lich or Pat King?

Or in the States, the Jan 6th protestors?

It's a global phenomena at this point...

Leniency for your preferred political persuasion is also a thing we are guilty of in the West.

But yea, back to the topic. Horrible picture.

Jan 6th political prisoners. Think again And in your own Country the PC police are arresting for thought crimes now, I would label those political prisoners as well.

Jan 6th political prisoners.

If people had attacked our Parliament they too would be in prison , and rightly so.

Jan 6th was a National disgrace , propagated by a National disgrace.

Not sure what they've been putting in the water in the UK, but maybe get it tested?

The disgrace lies with our leaders, world-wide.

I'm hoping for a global revolution, myself. I don't think we've made our point, yet.

Again, trying to get back on topic for YOUR OP:

Horrible picture.

In terms of symbolism the picture says much about the man and his current position but yes it would seem to be another misstep by the Kremlin , or perhaps its release runs deeper than that.

Pretty sure he meant health wise. Rumours run rampant about the highly secretive God Father of the Russian Empire.

Man, everyone is trying to get a jab in on U.S. politics with mentions of Jan 6th and "the left". It's just.. a picture of President Putin attending a church service alone.

They're going to whine and bitch themselves into a corner, only to realize congress left them there in a few years and they are the new fringe extremists who believe in a bunch of spoon fed garbage.

Yes they are...

Edward Snowden disagrees with you too.
