Wow, that is what i think about since at least a year and what i am preparing for. Not for a one time event but for the rest of my life living a life like people had to live some decades ago. I am very happy that i bought tools and equipment enough, long lasting food food in masses, long lasting clothes etc. All that $hit is getting more expensive day by day now.

On wednesday i managed to even get an apprenticeship as a carpenter. Normally i am way to old for such an apprenticeship but i use the weapons they use against us to my advantage. They do and pay everything meanwhile to get people into every kind of wage slave jobs, they even paid the driving license for a friend of mine (around 2000 Euros) so he can have a job he can´t reach by public transport because everybody knows that public transport in Germany has seen it´s best times decades ago.

So i asked for and got the apprenticeship. I only did that because what could be better than to really learn to deal with wood and not only that bit i taught myself by learning, doing, miserably failing and starting from scratch again till it worked. That´s what i do with everything learning by doing. I see this as a chance to get tools and wood and not to become a better wage slave than before. I want to be able to build whatever is needed and is manufacturable with wood, for me and the few people around me i still trust.

I chose wood and not metal (apprenticeship as a metal worker) because wood literally grows on trees, metal not.

Let them pay for the knowledge i will only use to my advantage and not for their plans. They can take the last shirt of us but not the knowledge we once gathered!
Cheers

Coffee? 30$ a tin

$30 for coffee??!!!

That's when I riot.

We can still get a 22.6 oz. can of Folgers for $10.99, $9.50 or so if it's on sale.

Maybe that’ll be the canary in the coal mine kind of situation… when Americans have to pay $30 for a tin of coffee.

LMAO

Keep in mind that's in Canadian Dollar.

So, that's only, like, 97 cents in USD.

i'm surprised so few are seeing this,, they know the West has become in effect the Soviet Block but like the soviet block the west is at the point of fall, the ones who'll see it clearest will be the Russians who faced a similar spiders web of corruption and lies..

i see Biden as less the chamberlain but more the Gorby a leader to ineffective to reform the broken union* into something salvable..

I mean the west not just the USA...

That sounds good, something to strive for..but, where I live, most people being funneled into sh$tty little condo's, houses and property being bought up for this, most people have no yard anymore. And it burns me that people bought into this garbage(condo life)

Maybe the answer is right there.
Let’s revert back to the country. Smaller villages.
We aren’t meant to live in boxes that reach the sky!

I watch a lot of Sadhguru and one of the things he mentions is if you live in an apartment of Condo and have children it is absolutely necessary to remove them for that environment frequently and expose them to the countryside. Why is that, and if good for children, it would be good/needed for adults too.

Nope, but they'll do a ton of damage before people wise up to it all.

they already have.. the tip of the iceberg looks to be about 80 trillion as a starting point.. its why they say you'll own nothing simply because they already stolen it.

I'm all for that, we need to expand, vs the common thing here to jam everyone into a few major urban centers. But, people go where the jobs are, all the immigrants go to Ontario, or BC. Toronto or Vancouver, because thats where they are already established. I can't even rent a place now, lost my place of 9 years, and rents have doubled.

I don't think for a minute that Russia has anything to do with it. Just a convenient scapegoat.

Well they ain’t exactly helping the situation either… even if we were to entertain your opinion that Russias aggression isn’t one of the root causes of this mess that we’re currently in.

The "entertaining" is you believing MSM BS.

This was well on it's way and predicted by those who could see what the results of global lockdowns would be.

Nothing to do with Russia, they're just the latest and greatest scapegoat of the last few years.

I’m no smarter than the next guy and I saw this coming 3 years ago. No Russia in the equation back then.

What concerns me more than the virus is the damage to the supply train that this reaction is having. Goods are starting to get thinned out by the consumer due to panic buying and the supplier is being crippled by the illness and the quarantining.

The fallout from this may be worse than the virus.

Russia had nothing to do with my estimation.

that's thier plan though.. this is the basis of the green party manifesto along with the 15 min cities, it is to return to the days of serfdom and us as peasants with no rights.

link to the 1972 blueptint on the green site..

this is the green plan UK PMs like Blair, brown and Cameron tried to foster onto US presidents..

Britain must be self supporting. We have stated already our belief that on the evidence available it is unlikely that there will be any significant increase in yield per acre, so that there is no other course open to us but to reduce our numbers before we stabilise.

Since we appear capable of supporting no more than half our present population, the figure we should aim for over the next 150 to 200 years can be no greater than 30 million, and in order to protect it from resource fluctuation probably less.

we see this thinking at WEF where they reckon the reduction should be 7+ billion..

I can confirm you aren't very smart
HeeHee, love ya bro! Couldn't resist...

Yep, you're one of the people I was referring to. I know you made statements predicting this sh#tshow in other threads too.

Many other ATS members predicted this too, I'm almost tempted to compile an "Accurate Predictions" thread, I think it would be interesting and also show how this is just common sense.

The 39 trucking companies that Ford pulled the licenses on, probably had something to do with this, I would think. That's JUST Ontario FFS.

Overpopulation is one of the driving forces in prices.
I was in shock a few weeks ago, seeing a head of lettuce for $5, when the most it's ever been is $1.99. Refuse to pay that - when I did purchase one, it was wilted and went in the garbage.
We buy on sale only - blueberries $1.49 this week, coffee $1.99, 10 cans of soup for $12, etc.
And the small delis where you can purchase hot foods are still not out of range. I buy cooked meats there and make my own sides.
Coupons are the way to go!

Truth be told, the west as a whole will pull though this as strong as ever and Russia will just remain the have nots.

I mean sure, quite a few westerners who have over extended themselves are going to get completely screwed by this whole ordeal, which totally sucks.

End of day though, the west will win and Russia will lose.

I find it interesting that you view this as an opportunity to get your Russia, Russia, Russia, propaganda in the mix. I know my stance on Russia isn't popular, but, I mean, really?

Are you conceding that our respective governments have added to this economical mess by sending billions of dollars to Ukraine and sanctioning Russia? Hurting us, more than them?

Here's a tip: they're laughing at our governmental stupidity.

Yeah, Russias aggressiveness towards its Neighbouring country has contributed in destabilizing the global economy, so a win to them there… I suppose.

But the win will be short lived and made no real sense in the first place… since no one’s going to benefit in the long run.

IMO that's because we insist on sticking our nose in it.

We should let them do their thing, they're both pathetic.

Russia (Putin) needs to be shut down as fast as possible… for the sake of western society, and our whole way of living in general.

Oh my.

I thought Ukraine was handing them their ass?

Which is it?

They're a superpower again?

Then, they're hopelessly losing?

Derp.
