“As we say goodbye to the most difficult and tragic year that our band has ever known, we are reminded of how thankful we are for the people that we love and cherish most, and for the loved ones who are no longer with us.

Foo Fighters were formed 27 years ago to represent the healing power of music and a continuation of life. And for the past 27 years our fans have built a worldwide community, a devoted support system that has helped us all get through the darkest of times together. A place to share our joy and our pain, our hopes and fears, and to join in a chorus of life together through music. Without Taylor, we never would have become the band that we were – and without Taylor, we know that we’re going to be a different band going forward.

We also know that you, the fans, meant as much to Taylor as he meant to you. And we know that when we see you again – and we will soon – he’ll be there in spirit with all of us every night.”

No better way to honor Taylor's memory than to continue the music that showed the World his drumming brilliance , gone but never forgotten.

I still miss Kurt.

I would love to hear his take on the world today.

One thing is for sure, Kurt would never have pimped medical apartheid like a moronic stooge...

I stopped caring about these guys the moment they asked their apparently beloved fans to get an injection to see them.
Them and Rage against the Machine, lol, better known now as minions of the machine.
I just don't have it in me to support people who use themselves to force others to do something against their instincts.
I loved the Foo Fighters, but the whole lot of them are not what I thought them to be. Just more bootlickers, and I was so disappointed in them. Disgusted, actually.

Man, I saw them at a Festival in 2021 and Dave's message was so positive (Had tickets to see a show about 6-8 years ago but I didn't go). They opened with "Times Like These," and it was perfect after the Covid lockdown. I'd never seen them perform before, but Dave's personality and on-stage persona and general personality, compared to Kurt's troubled darkness, is stark.

He's a genuinely good human being.

Their first album, along with Sonic Youth's Daydream Nation, kept me sane when I visited japan in the mid-90s as a teen.

And I'm not a huge fan, I maybe actually like only a solid 50% of their songs, but what they're about, their talent and humanity, is why they have so much respect from me.

Nobody cares , just carry on ignoring people because they think differently to you , you're only spiting yourself with your own form of cancel culture .
