Wanna bet?

Just come back and apologize when you are wrong.
No anti-Trumper has apologized for getting everything wrong so far, you’d be the first.

If they thought there was criminal activity committed by Trump they would go after him. The very idea that they "believe" he committed criminal acts but are no longer pursuing the investigation is ludicrous. This panel of jackassery has been running loose for two years. This panel was created FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF INVESTIGATING POTENTIAL CRIMINAL ACTIVITY BY TRUMP. They supposedly "believe" Trump committed criminal acts and now they want to wrap the whole thing up and hand it off to someone else??? Sorry, this is just a last ditch effort at saving face. Although, with those faces, I would think they would be happy to lose them...

As I said earlier, at no point did I think this was the end of anything but this particular clown committee. Of course there will be subsequent investigations, a thousand more interviews, more made up dossiers, another two years of witch hunting, and so on. Just like the ballots that miraculously get "discovered" at 4 in the morning, some mysterious piece of evidence that no one knew existed, despite years of investigations, will suddenly appear and the whole sh1tshow will start all over again. Case in point - the FBI raid of Mar A Lago. They did the raid, took everything they could find, didn't find anything substantial and issued a press release stating, "They "believe" Trump has more classified documents, that they didn't get them all..." Well, why didn't they get them when they had the chance? That was what the warrant was for...

They are incapable of admitting they are wrong. It would mean the end of their agenda and their failed belief system.

Proof: Sen Hank Johnson of Georgia. He is the guy who said, in a senate sub-committee meeting, that he believed "the island of Guam would tip over and capsize if we put too many people on it."

After making that incredibly stupid statement he was re-elected four more times and is still a Sen from Georgia to this day...

but are no longer pursuing the investigation

It wasn't the investigation. The Committee was necessary because it is no small matter to allow the DOJ to go after a president!
The investigation starts when the Committe has concluded its work, which is any minute now.

The two year period ends July 1, 2023.

The new congress will not continue the existing committee, but will investigate their actions. The democrat side of this has nothing new to offer but will continue to demand criminal charges against Trump, which they have been doing since this started. They will continue to investigate anything they can any way they can. But, there is nothing new from this committee. No new charges, no new subpoenas, no nothing. The DOJ was already investigating Trump, just like every other alphabet agency. Still - nothing.

Are you ignorant enough to believe this is how the government is supposed to work? Is this what the DOJ is supposed to be doing? The same DOJ that couldn't find anything wrong with using bleachbit and hammers on hillary's devices? The same DOJ that couldn't find anything wrong with hunters laptops - plural? The same DOJ that completely ignored biden bragging about pay for play in Ukraine?

You are the last person who should be throwing around the word ignorant. I am amazed you haven't learned by now that insults from you are just boomerangs circling around on their way back...

So they interviewed more than 1,000 people and reviewed more than 1 million documents, but it was NOT an investigation? Wow...

The United States House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol (the January 6th Committee)

But it wasn't the investigation...

There are so many 'I told you so' ahead, Dear....
So enjoy your moment of 'winning' because you're in for a big surprise.

I leave you guys to it.
Enjoy
Remember: ITYS is short for I told you so, which is what you'll get a lot from me, soon.
I'll be forever referring you to this thread if there shall ever be doubt if you could be right in the future, after this is settled.
A week, a month (?) and you'll see

On the last day of the show, Schiff, Cheney and the rest of the paid actors will stand on the stage holding hands and take a bow.
Liberals in the audience will throw roses at their feet.

If we know anything, it's that Schiff is a master of "parody."

Oh dude... yes the Committee investigated if a criminal investigation is justified.
But the Committee is a body of politicians not the DOJ.

MSM has reported on the news every evening how the committee has uncovered numerous illegalities, so for the majority of the populace who rely on CNN, ABC, etc. for their information programming he is 100% guilty.

There will be an excuse as to why they cancelled the subpoena shortly. On the plus side for them, besides slinging more shade on Trump they forced him to waste even more money on lawyers. Perhaps they think they can bankrupt him eventually?

I'd really, really like to believe if they can do this to Trump, it can and will be done to them. I already have a list of a couple of dozen I'd like to see go first-both parties.

Glad taxpayer money was spent on this Stalinesque witch-hunt committee. Money well spent!

Two years of so-called investigations, more than 1,000 witnesses interviewed, unending press conferences, threats and intimidations of various degree and nature - and it was all a big nothing-burger. Just more tax payer money wasted on a federal witch hunt - that failed yet again...

Despite having to withdraw the request for subpoena, because they know they won't get it, and preparing to dissolve the committee as soon as next week, they still maintain that:

Trump engaged in a “multi-part conspiracy” to upend the 2020 election and failed to act on the violence

Despite this belief, they are still cancelling the request for the subpoena and dissolving the panel. That doesn't sound like a good idea if their continued allegations are true...but that is what they are saying anyway.

If anyone still thinks this was a legitimate investigation of criminal acts I have some ocean front property in Nebraska I would like to sell...

But they're definitely keeping all the money congress paid them to do absolutely nothing useful for 15+ months. The exact numbers are available at your nearest google machine.

This is a hollow victory at best.

So why did they prevent any cross questioning and why did they suppress (R)s ?? Hmmm WHY? 😁

Please list the (D) witnesses, you will certainly find few and none of his inner circle and appointees. They were all long term (R).
This was not a trial. Why would someone be cross examined for testimony they provided in an investigation?

Anyone on a committee can ask question. Any of them can. So, in saying cross examination it is not in a trial sense but people who will ask conflicting question. It could even be for confirmation. The 1/6 Panel would be like all of your enemies got together to try to find something that you did wrong and for a year and a half bad mouthing you the whole time.

Schiff, where is that MOUNTAIN of evidence would be my question. If you have something, show it but they never did. Nothing was resolved and it could happen again at any time and still not prepared.

Maybe because all existing and past Committees allowed it 😎

This one time Committee disallowed it 😎

The (R)s suppressed were the ones on the Committee not witnesses. 😎

The lies told by witnesses were never challenged 😎

Nice deflection by claiming ignorance and faking misunderstanding😎
