Having just re-watched the Marvel Infinity Saga, I've updated my Marvel vs DC rating and comparison list. I'm now also not counting Spiderman: Far From Home as part of the Infinity Saga because even though it's still part of Phase 3, it came out after Endgame (which is really the end of the Infinity Saga). Most notable differences are that I lowered the rating for Endgame (-0.3) and Captain Marvel (-0.1), since those 2 movies signal the end of the MCU and the beginning of the M-She-U. Never really liked Endgame in comparison to Infinity War all that much anyway (at least it still has Thanos in it, and a somewhat epic battle at the end, but Thor isn't Thor, Hulk isn't Hulk, and it takes at least an hour before it gets a bit more interesting; I also never really liked the time-travel 'cheat' and the Supreme Sorceress from Dr. Strange has a scene in it, and she's cringe to me*; this time when I re-watched Dr. Strange, I skipped all the scenes that had her in it, along with the first hour of training and introductions). *: which has to do with the associated (false) religious propaganda that's she's spewing and associated buttons she's pushing (and the concept of counterfeit spirituality and associated 'better-than-thou'/'holier-than-thou'/'more spiritual-than-thou' pride and arrogance button that is pushed with it, especially harmful to those susceptive to falling for such counterfeit spirituality and righteousness or supposed goodness).

I still feel I have Ant-Man and the Wasp a bit overrated (and possibly Ant-Man as well then; I preferred him in Civil War, the fight scene when he grows big, that was funny, but he isn't growing big in the first Ant-Man movie; but I rated all those movies that are 'so-so' or barely doable at 6 now, as long as you skip the lesser scenes of the movie). I still somewhat enjoy Captain Marvel though because I'm a Sci-Fi fan and the first part of the movie is more Sci-Fi. And Samuel L. Jackson is good in it as always (I only lowered it to 6.9 from 7; it's still better than the Hulk movie to me because it's more Sci-Fi, even though it's clearly M-She-U because they genderswapped Captain Marvel from the comics, which I'm not familiar with but I looked it up + I also didn't like the change from the Skrulls being the 'bad guys' in the comics). I did realize I enjoyed Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (+0.4) more than what I rated it at before (I still don't like they killed off Yondu though, a lot more entertaining character than plot-armored M-She-U girlboss Gamora, but you know how things work in the entertainment industry's matriarchy now). I also rated it a bit low before because I know what propaganda buttons are being pushed with the character Ego, but I try to ignore that now cause it doesn't work on me anyway when you know the score (still don't like to see them do it to others though).

I'll bold the changes compared to my previous list posted above.

Avengers: Infinity War (9.3)
Avengers: Endgame (8.7)
Thor: Ragnarok (8.7)
Guardians of the Galaxy (8.6)
The Avengers (8.5)
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (8.2)
Zack Snyder's Justice League (8.1)
(-0.1; I realized the added scenes don't add that much to the original, it just has a slightly better flow and feels a bit less rushed compared to the original)
Justice League 2017 (8)
Avengers: Age of Ultron (7.9)
Thor: Dark World (7.8)
(swapped these 2 around, even though this one is more Sci-Fi, the other one still features all the original Avengers, both have early signs of the M-She-U, so there's no difference on that front)
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (Ultimate Edition) (7.8)
Captain America: Civil War (7.7)
Iron Man (7.6)
Iron Man 3 (7.5) (+0.2)
Iron Man 2 (7.4) (+0.2; they are not much worse than the first Iron Man movie, and I wanted to lower Aquaman, Thor and GOTG3 without leaving a gap)
Aquaman (7.3) (-0.1)
Thor (7.3) (-0.2; the Sci-Fi element on Asgard and Jotunheim is not actually enough to warrant a 7.5 rating, it's over before the half hour mark)
Guardians of the Galaxy 3 (7.2) (-0.3; already felt I had rated it a bit too high before, with the adjustments, this fits better)
Man of Steel (7.1)
Spider-Man: No Way Home (7)
Captain Marvel (6.9)
The Incredible Hulk (6.8)
Joker (6.7)
(this one is a little hard to rate in between all those high budget expensive CGI movies, but I really liked the way they took a real mental disorder, pseudobulbar affect, and applied it to the Joker, it made me look up a real example of someone affected by PBA on youtube and I learned something new, always a nice bonus)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (6.6) (-0.4; never really liked this one before, I was being generous before because it had Robert Redford in it; not that fond of the whole cheap Captain America melee approach compared to the more expensive Sci-Fi CGI of other superheroes, the melee scenes are also ridiculously sped up, it's too noticeable in this one to the point of me checking if my stream has the wrong playback speed, plus I can do without the pro-American patriotism and nationalism propaganda, catering to the pro-military conservative crowd, even though it's more prominent in the first Captain America movie)
Black Adam (6.5)
The Batman (6)
Spider-Man: Far From Home (6)
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (6)
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (6)
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (6)
Eternals (6)
Shazam! Fury of the Gods (6)
Shazam! (6)
Captain America: The First Avenger (6)
(I left all of these movies in the same order of preference approximately, but none truly deserve a higher rating than 6 for me, except maybe Black Adam for the CGI, but perhaps when I watch that one again, I'll lower that one to 6 as well, but that leaves a spot for the 6.5 rating, which I don't want to skip, maybe I should put GOTG3 at 6.5, and then Thor at 7.2; but GOTG is my favorite Sci-Fi genre and Aquaman is really not better than Thor for the same reason for me, I count something more as Sci-Fi when it's not on earth, and even more so when it has spaceships and/or spacebattles, or space 'pew pew')
Doctor Strange (6)
Ant-Man and the Wasp (6)
Ant-Man (6)
Suicide Squad (6)
Thor: Love and Thunder (5.9) (+0.1; had to raise this one to fit in the new ones below, which are even worse; and I'm still being generous with all of these including Suicide Squad above, which is at the bottem end of the "barely doable" ones)
Deadpool & Wolverine (5.8)
The Marvels (5.8)
The Flash (5.8)

Spider-Man Homecoming (5.7)
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (5.6)
The Suicide Squad (5.5)
Wonder Woman (5)
Black Panther (5)
Wonder Woman 1984 (4.5)
Black Widow (4)
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (3)
Blue Beetle (3)
Birds of Prey (2)

Total Marvel: 228.5 / 34 = 6.7 (Infinity Saga: 160.2 / 22 = 7.3) (the rest: 68.3 / 12 = 5.7)
Total DC: 99.3 / 17 = 5.8 (Before 2020: 53.9 / 8 = 6.7) (After 2019, excl ZSJL: 39.2 / 8 = 4.9 ; incl ZSJL: 47.3 / 9 = 5.3)

Coming back to my earlier remarks about pushing false stories and religious philosophies (propaganda, including the astral projection and immortal immaterial soul crap/poison and mythology) along with counterfeit spirituality in Dr. Strange (as mostly done by the Supreme Sorceress making her so cringe to me), I still like this remark from Captain America in The Avengers:

Very funny, and true as well. A rarity for the entertainment industry these days (that last thing).

3.5 is really kind of you

You're right, adjusted to 3 accordingly. (about Wakanda Forever)

Making it the clear worst Marvel movie to date, with Black Widow at 4 (which wasn't much better, but it fits best in my list that way). I could lower Black Widow to 3.5 now, but either way, I'm going to have to use a .5 in there somewhere, cause Black Widow is worse than Wonder Woman 1984 (at least the latter one has some more expensive CGI in it, which is the only thing I watch modern movies for anyway, the updated graphics compared to the good Sci-Fi movies of the 80's and 90's, which is still my favorite genre). If I were to put Wonder Woman 1984 at 4, I would then have to put Black Widow at 3.5 and Wakanda Forever at 3, but I feel there should be a bigger gap between Wakanda Forever and Black Widow than between Black Widow and Wonder Woman 1984 (which is more or less the same idea and storyline according to "The Message"). Wakanda Forever was just terrible all around (especially if you already didn't like the first Black Panther movie which I rated at 5, the lowest rating for the Infinity Saga movies, and I skip it every time I re-watch that Saga).

I want to leave a spot open for the 1-rating movie, which is bound to come soon. Maybe Blade, which doesn't promise a whole lot of CGI and possibly a low budget as well. Unless DC beats them to the punch, cause they seem to be better at making real stinkers like Birds of Prey. If they ever made Batgirl or Dark Canary which they planned before, that would be a sure candidate. Guess they already made Harley Quinn vs. The Joker in the 2nd Joker movie, but neither of those movies are officially listed on the DC Extended Universe wikipedia page. I guess because I included Joker anyway, I can do the same for the 2nd one, but I haven't seen that one yet. What I have heard about it though, makes it the prime candidate for the 1-rating spot.

I'm now wondering if they'll ever add more DC movies to that list on wikipedia (after Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom). Since I think they're calling it a reboot now: "A new rebooted franchise of films and television series, the DC Universe (DCU)" (as wikipedia puts it on that page, so maybe I should check out the new page if they've already made some movies, not that I'm actually interested; but they can't hide from the past in my rating list; if the new ones are all 1's, it's going to lower their overall rating in this Marvel vs DC comparison rating list of mine; where the main subcomparison is about comparing the Infinity Saga with the DC movies of the same timeperiod).

[checking the new page]

Oh yeah, I forgot, a new Superman movie is coming without Henry Cavill, meh, can't be that good. Was never that interested in Superman anyway (Man of Steel had a bit more off-world Sci-Fi than I had expected, and the actor+character General Zod was pretty good).

Supergirl (coming after that) could be another candidate for the 1-rating though, but I think once I've seen the 2nd Joker movie, which is probably more of a Harley Quinn movie anyway, it'll beat it to the punch for that spot. Swamp Thing seems a boring project as well, if they'll ever go ahead with it. The other movies listed there as being in the planning I couldn't care less about, so I won't even bother mentioning them. Looks like these will flop anyway cause I doubt I'm the only one who feels that way about these.

The endconclusion from my rating comparison in light of this thread's title is that Marvel is still winning (for me; in all comparisons and subcomparisons, see averages at the bottem of the list). Oh, I just noticed, I lowered Wonder Woman from 5.8 to 5 compared to my list on the previous page. It was just rated so high before because I really dig the theme song when Wonder Woman springs into action. Which would actually be the biggest drop (-0.8) compared to my list on the previous page. Giving a bit more penalty points for the D-She-U effect (which is less pronounced as the M-She-U effect but still there, especially in the associated TV series, if you count the Supergirl and Batwoman series as part of the DC universe, neither of which I'm interested in watching and rating), in spite of the kickass (literally) theme song:

The funeral scene for Iron Man at the end of Endgame is like the funeral for the MCU.

Ah alright, I'll put it at 8.8 anyway, because it's the climax and culmination of the Infinity Saga, though disappointing as the whole movie may be compared to Infinity War, it still has the epic battle at the end (even though it's slightly ruined by the M-She-U effect and the battle doesn't last very long* compared to the rest of the movie, I'll just ignore that for a moment).

*: especially once OP girlboss Captain Marvel shows up.
