(This probably belongs more in the WWIII forum than General Conspiracies...)

It's happened again. This time in Washington state. ABC News reports (sorry, don't have a more trustworthy source yet) "Three power substation facilities were vandalized in Pierce County, Washington, on Christmas morning, knocking out power to more than 14,000 customers, authorities said."

No suspects yet, and the sheriff's office said, ""It is unknown if there are any motives or if this was a coordinated attack on the power systems..."

Right. I'm sure this was just a coincidentally grouped set of acts of vandalism. Just like the recent ones in North Carolina. Or maybe another extremist right-wing group protesting cross-dressing perverts.

I've run across s couple of informative videos on this subject lately. This one is by a man who lives in Moore County, NC (where recent attacks took place).

This one is a general analysis of current events related to the issue.

It's clearer every day that something is afoot. Whether it's domestic terrorists or foreign agents or domestic terrorists sponsored and guided by foreign agents (the last being most likely, IMO), it's not good. I don't consider this doom porn; I think that is clear that something coordinated is happening.

Lastly, if you'd like a bit of insight into the domestic terrorist angle, there's an unlikely podcast that I recently listened to that will shed some light. The podcast is a true crimr program called "SMALL TOWN DICKS." Their December 16 episode called "Deep Cover" is about a cop who spent a year infiltrating a domestic terrorist group in the US, the type that's be plenty capable of this kind of thing. Look it up if it interests you.

CBS News also reporting.

When Police were called to the third "vandalized" power station several hours after it was taken out, "they found "the fenced area was broken into and the equipment vandalized," similar to the other two substations."

2 things that come to mind: Hunter's Laptop & The FTN debacle.

Hunter's Laptop SHOULD have been investigated immediately but was shoved under the carpet as "ohhh it's just his laptop, put it on the back burner."

-just my 2 cents.

Any major robberies in the areas that coincide with outages..any common denominators except that the attacks seem to tell us what they could do instead of what they are doing..to establish connections..my guess is copy cat..Ive talked to people right here on this site that have boasted of how easy this sort of thing would be, and of course it would probably be just as easy to take out power to 500,000 as 10,000 for someone who knew what they were doing…these guys obviously don't.

A substation that has been running on good luck and skilled staff for years because profits come before infrastructure improvements, would use this reason to explain away downtime. Especially when the quality of staff has gone like in so many other businesses to deflect attention from the aforementioned cause.

People do vandalize those sub stations, so I don’t think it’s necessarily some coordinated conspiracy.

I remember years ago I was working for a fencing company who had been contracted to replace the diamond wire fencing around a heap of those power stations with high security steel fencing, for the exact reason of because people were breaking in and vandalizing them.

Put out a $5000 cash reward and it won't take long. Make it more and you'll find out more

Here I am at almost five am in the dark reading this. Not in Pierce co. Also, not far from there. I agree that this sounds more like part of something bigger. Is this the Dark Winter I've read about?

multiple accounts all say vandalized, nothing stolen

copper thieves are around, but apparently not this time.

I wonder if this was supposed to be a widespread event but the Northeast part was canceled due to weather.

let's keep track of this

The drag show angle was a wild-a** theory by some unknown woman, which was proven wrong. At least get the facts straight.

OP was saying that in jest. They’re challenging that theory.

Some reporting from inside Russia has suggested that the CIA are involved in the recent attacks on Russian infrastructure-the railways,oil/gas pipes etc
They have been speculating about it for a while, and blaming the CIA

So I was wondering-does the Russian government take this reporting seriously?
Because if it does, these attacks on US infrastructure could easily be what Russia would call payback.

Like the explosions inside Russia, these attacks on the US power grid seem to be happening more often than regular accidents would.

Something is going on-and I would have thought Russia are more likely to be responsible .

Death by a thousand cuts comes to mind.

Too many of these "incidents" to be coincidence.

I wouldn't doubt this is a result of our porous border. "They" are testing us.

Have you seen this shlock film from 2013 titled ''American Blackout''? It opens with a quote “A massive and well-coordinated cyber-attack on the electric grid could devastate the economy and cause a large-scale loss of life.” – Dr. Richard Andres, US National War College.

Predictive programming.

And guess who the talking head news reader is... Kari Lake. Yep.

They used to have her interviewing Obama and Trump and yammering on and on about high speed car chases. They worked her into a cheap scare movie. Next they'll have her working the election fraud global i.d. blockchain NFT angle.

That’s exactly where my mind went.

Given how primed the tinder box is, with so much being taken to the absolute limits of societal tolerance, bad actors are almost required to continue to play small ball - any “major” event could have global implications.

We can likely rule out “eco-terrorism” given that WA state gets the majority of its electricity from renewable energy sources. For example, I live in WA and 100% of my energy that isn’t generated by my solar panels is renewable - hydro/wind/solar/geothermal - zero fossil fuel consumption. If you’re a climate activist, WA State isn’t the target you’re looking for.

My suspicion is these attacks are potentially:

- practice for a larger series of events.
- tactical attacks on specific stations to impact something we’re not aware of (or haven’t put the pieces together for).
- testing coordination of attacks at small scale.
- a bunch of teenagers who are up to no good/copy cat.
- false flags to lead to fortification of our power stations.
- false flags to get more fed $ into the grid.

Death by 1k cuts makes sense to me, though. Major events tend to be unifying in nature. Lots of small, coordinated attacks become a nuisance and drive people batty. I suspect it’s the latter we’re dealing with.

Wouldn't a more logical explanation be that this is simply down to a rivalry between different companies?

We all know that some companies are run like the mafia, and this is exactly the kind of thing that the original marifa was known for doing.

Back in the day they ransacked each other's speakeasy, now the do the same with sub stations?

With a country the size of the US, this isn't so much a cut as a pinprick.

It's like people talking about warehouse fires and saying that we've had 10 and that means that there's a conspiracy to crate an artificial food supply shortage, without mentioning that you might have 10 similar fires in NYC alone in the average month, and that they account for less than 0.01 percent of the supply in NYC.

I would be interested to know a couple of things.
1. what are the substations power source? Coal? Gas? Nuclear for a connection because,
2. This is all over the US and environmentalists are also not beyond this type of thing.
They are letting air out of SUV tires, and doing all sorts of illegal things to make their point.
Also they are organized from coast to coast depending on the group. my money is on
the "Green People".
Or do we have a copycat situation going on?

I posted links I stumbled upon in the other thread about the other sub stations shot up. In February the DOJ arrested 3 people who were working on plans to aid a group to attack sub stations and in June or July Homeland Security were investigating a 14 page playbook making the rounds on certain web channels targeting sub stations. Both were domestic groups.
