I mean,
any shmuck can make an engine run on "just water" and emit "just water" by using an HHO splitter, compressing the gasses to a liquid, storing them in high pressure tanks, then leaking it back into an engine.

But it uses a TON of electricity to create and compress the fuel, which comes from coal powered electric plants, so it's not saving anybody anything.

The only people who gain anything from this nonsense are people who live in huge densely populated sardine cans, and they want fewer exhaust fumes in their face...
and then complain when the power goes out

Err but what about the dead birds, windmills are bird killers apparently , that was someone else’s logic

If it’s methane will these cars look amazing but stink ?

Can't they engineer it so that it captures the methane exhaust and/or has a deflecting cage around the windmill? What are we living in the 1800s?

So gasoline with extra steps that’s patented.

Why not just use strong magnetic pistons in an all aluminum engine block? Use the push and pull effect of permanent magnets attached to a crank shaft and large flywheel? Maybe just use the push or repel effect with air compression or try it in a total vacuum inside that same engine block made of all aluminum? We need an official ATS Think Tank here to make this thing work! 🤔💡

I want my car to run on nothing but beer instead of just the driver! Well robots run on liquor in Futurama don't they?

i got a feeling that more auto manufacturers are gonna want to stay with internal combustion over electric. with internal combustion the tech is all but there just needs fine tuning and the manufacturers of fuel are making leaps and bounds.

as time goes on the cost of alternative combustion fuel will come done. but i doubt very seriously the cost of EV production will. you got to think about all the metals that will have to be used in EV, copper, aluminum, gold, silver, lithium, and what ever others. with all manufacturers trying to make EV's the cost is going to sky rocket for those metals.

hydrogen is proven clean fuel. methane, natural gas and lp although not as clean as hydrogen, they can be made more so. when i was a little fella, my aunt worked for a gas company as a sales person, they converted a 1970 nova with a 350 in it for her to drive on sales calls to convert them, they also had a 1970 Nova SS with a 396 that the owner drove on his calls.

here a links folks might like, and a video.

Natural gas is the cleanest traditional fossil fuel source because it produces relatively low amounts of pollutants like carbon dioxide -- a potent greenhouse gas and major contributor to climate change. But greenhouse gases and pollutants released by burning natural gas could be reduced even further with the help of advanced catalysts that help lower the temperature at which methane -- the largest component of natural gas -- is burned. "The more efficiently we burn methane and the less energy we use to burn it, the less greenhouse gas and pollutants it produces. So, anything we can do to get this combustion temperature down is an environmental win," said Reza Shahbazian-Yassar, professor of mechanical and industrial engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago.
New catalyst can make natural gas burn cleaner Lowering the combustion temperature for methane

A car that runs on air and water would mean that you can't really regulate it .

A cage will reduce the windmill output and do nothing to stop the noise from driving off ground dwellers. The subsonic noise can make some people go insane miles away.

Once a perminant magnet pushes or pulls, then what? It has to alternate and perminant magnets don't.

I just found this motionless wind technology, so why can't it be adapted it to car manufacturing, or better aerocar, even though this technology is strictly for rooftop use.

I don't know, inertia or kinetic energy of the flywheel does the rest? Push, push, push, push, and crank that mother effing crank shaft just like old ass current explosion technology would. You know you're not being a real helpful member of the ATS Think Tank team! 😜

Yeah, and I'm going to make a living on looking good and repeating things Im told to say on camera. Its gonna be great. I will drive there in my car powered by water and air. Yeah and man, Im gonna win the lottery while Im at it. What a life its gonna be .

But you are pushing in the wrong direction. It has to push then pull or at least push then not push.

You can achieve the same affect by removing a sparkplug and shoving a rope in that hole. You get push but no return on the rest of the turn. They use this method to losten the propeller nut on old aircraft.

I thought you wanted productive discussion, not blind followers agreeing with everything.

Motionless it is not. It still has to be pointed in into the wind and has a generator turned by a propeller. The generator bearings will wear out eventually.

It is like a Dyson bladless fan. If you look in the base, there is a motor with a regular fan on it. You just can't see it from the outside.

my country uses GNV/natural gas powered cars...the only caveat is the tank takes up all of the trunk space and you could go up in a fender bender

Israeli based Aquarius Engines has made 22 lb (10 kg) single-piston-linear-engine, that runs exclusively on hydrogen . As far i can understand , it`s purpose is to generate electricity . so my question is which is better version.

1. Use the mentioned fuel as in the OP in current cars , or 2. have this kind of tiny hydogen generator added to power EV vehicles to recharge batterys ?
