Watch the video, but it BS to wait this late to drop a 1.7 trillion dollar spending bill, Rand Paul is correct, adding to our debt is the greatest risk to our national security. Absolutely no telling what is hidden in this monstrosity. 1.7 Trillion without oversight Is like giving your 8-year-old kid the grocery money for the month and they get a loaf of bread, peanut butter and jelly and spend the rest on pokemon cards

There is plenty there they don't want you to see, ala the ACA act.

3 million for a 'Michelle Obama' trail

A Black Americans wax museum-can't remember how many millions

A Gay something-or-other center for several million

And I can't recall what else was mentioned. It was a Senator on one of the talk shows my hubby was watching, so I wasn't paying close attention until he started naming the pork.

There may be more money in the budget for spraying Bobcat Urine on Rats, after they have been force fed alcohol.

Rand Paul outed the U.S. Government for this expenditure 2 years ago: chicksonright.com... in-wasteful-spending-during-2020/

What a waste of alcohol. If it was well aged Scotch, I'd publicly identify as a rat, willing drink the Scotch and put up with being sprayed with bobcat urine while doing so. I wouldn't run a maze at that point though, but I might eat some rat food and poop in the corner of my cage.

I like Rand Paul; however he needs to stop carrying water for progressives like Trump. I was getting concerned there for a bit when he seemed to fall in line with Trumps big spending and big government agenda.

It's all theatrics.
Opposition is either controlled or an act.

4155 pages and this has to be read, debated, and voted on by Friday.

War and Peace - 1225 pages.
The Iliad and The Odyssey - over 1000 pages.
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy - over 1200 pages.

Imagine being given three days to read the books, discuss it with 500 people, and vote whether or not you liked everything about the books.

Nancy Pelosi "We have to pass it to find out what's in it" 2.0.

Yet they can work for two years on Civil War II, the dastardly Jan. 6 bloodbath.

Keeping ALL AMERICANS IN THE DARK IS THE FIRST PRIORITY OF ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS and that happens on a world-wide scale too.

NO it will just be added to the national debt... we will simply owe the bank another 1.7 Trillion.

Whenever they do something (any of these things on the list) they will pay from the US gov - not in cash...

Cash is reserved for putting on a palette and shipping overseas for "other" purposes.

The question that needs to be asked, and then answered honestly is, "Who profits from the interest paid on the federal debt?" This should tell us who is really running things. IMHO.

You are absolutely right. All inquiries lead to the fact that we don't know who OWNS the "Federal" reserve bank.

And by our Presidents own words; we hold them as an organization that has regulatory independence.

Regulatory independence translates - in my opinion - to complete unaccountability.

The global reserve banking system is an entirely different construct from a "corporate citizen" of any state or nation.

They will not allow any comprehensive audit of their activities, nor will they disclose who their primary beneficiaries are - the only thing that's clear is it is not "the nation" so much as the bank itself... hence illogical bailouts, and policies and plans that the nation MUST support, or else economic damage can (and probably will) be purposefully engineered.

It's the one thing that most everyone in "politics" never admits... a foreign economic monopoly.

Here is a list of some highlights.

Funding trails, renaming post offices, money for CBP but only for processing (prohibits it being spent of actual border patrol).

It’ll pass, I’m not hearing or reading any hints of a government shutdown. Usually its blasted before it actually happens so Fed workers can prep like the last time.

Here we go again Republicans trying to kill grandmo ... and for what? For what? so that my kids have a better future? So that my wouldbe grand kids aren't turned into debt slaves?

ETA

... Oh wait, I just talked to grandmo; she says let her die, she's lived a long life, loves my kids, and doesn't want her country to put a yoke around their necks in her name.

It's an American citizen and tax payers responsibility to debate and otherwise deal with the bill. Go on back to your support for Putin and Assad please and thank you.

Oh I have no doubt its chock full of unneeded and unnecessary projects, there is no time for oversight and discussion and it's why they do it this way so nobody will call them out.

It is as Paul says the Republicans will rationalize they get 45 billion for the military, but it took a 1.7 trillion bill to get there.

Hell I'll go further it's not just 1.7 trillion, we need to know where the funds are going as there are likely much better places for it to be spent than where it is currently allocated.
