An extortionist whose demand for $50million from construction giant Multiplex was not paid has mailed further written threats to the company and
union officials.
Andrew Ferguson, the state secretary of the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union, detailed the contents of the three letters received by
the union to the Herald last night.
"The details of the letters were: 'We've given Multiplex an opportunity to pay, they've failed to pay, we're giving them one final warning, and
if they don't pay by April 18, a sniper will shoot at crane drivers in Australia or Great Britain and will keep shooting until they pay or go
bust'," Mr Ferguson said.
The union received the additional threats on Friday at its Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne offices and contacted the police in each state.

It’s seems that Multiplex has had prior dealings with blackmail, Multyplex accountant David Hicks had a severed kangaroo head placed on his boat.
Shades of the God Father. It sounds more like a bad made for TV movie.
