The UFO phenomenon has been exploited for everything from public celebrity to vain attention-seeking, to criminal conspiracy, and money.
It is an aspect of the active misinformation campaign that has raged since shortly after the internet was opened up to people.
But that appears to be waning now (at least to me.)
The subject is real, the objects are real. Stick with it, if you have a sincere interest - there is a lot left to be done.
