First just this morning, I think I broke a couple of toes, the Lil piggy that went to the market and the Lil piggy that stayed home. Been icing them both but it hurts when I walk I don't know what I'll do when I have to wear shoes I got a walking boot somewhere but it's in a box in the garage where I broke them in the first place. So basically have been immobile ever since

I was laying here reading more about Cheers' Kirstie Alley's passing and was shocked at how old she was then I did some research and find this elsewhere.

Well, that took my mind off my broken toes, I'm 58 now the same age as Coach was back in 1982. I don't know if it's compressed memories or what but it just doesn't seem like 40 damn years ago. It's not like I haven't seen Ted Danson either in Curb Your Enthusiasm, but I supposed I just never thought about it till today.

I am a huge Scooby-Doo fan. Hard to believe they have been on in one form or another for over 50 years. A bit longer than me, but not by much.

It is an odd realization that time seems to get faster every year. I started doing what I do over 30 years ago, and it seems like yesterday when I knew nothing and thought I was the #. Now I still know nothing, but I now know that I know nothing.

I look way better than coach at 58, I look more like a Tom Hanks from Castaway for that age. He must have had a hard life to that point. I keep doing what I have to on a daily, like a physically demanding job during the week along with daily firewood duty this time of year (that includes cutting it and dragging it back on weekends).

I'd like to see the year of death on those actors that aren't alive today along with their age then. There is a generation of celebs passing away, all getting too close to my age.

Doesn't almost every guy go through a phase where they feel like they are the #? It was about the time I fell in lust got married, and started having kids and that knocked that # right out of me, LOL

I guess i will never feel old because you only will feel old if you, your mind let´s it happen to you that you feel old.. My thinking didn`t age, inside my head i am the same stupid child i was with 15 or 20. And believe me, this is better than good, affects even your body. If you feel old and behave like you are farting dust since decades, your body will age in fast forward, no matter what you try to stop this aging.

If you have no problems to accept your age, if you don´t act and behave as if you had died decades ago, if you don´t try to be 20 or 30 anymore if your are 40 or 50, when you have made peace with yourself and the reality around you (like that fact that humans age with the years), then you will be young even being 8ß years old or even way older by number.

Cheers

I remember back in high school, like around the time they said we no longer had to hold our hand on our heart for The Pledge Of Allegiance, that in the year 2000 I would be 40+ years old. Seemed like I had forever!
That was pretty near 23 years ago now.
It took FOREVER to get to 18, then 21, then bang….FKN WARP SPEED.
1976 came while I was in high school with the county's 200 th birthday and that seemed such a long long, time ago.
100 years does not seem nearly as long to me now in my 60’s as it did back then.

It’s freakin weird AF how times works us.

On another note, I got busted up and beached way too early in life. Looking back at just the past 20 or so years sure seems like forever now. How does that freakin work?
It can’t be both ways FFS…..

How does what I just typed even begin to make sense when looking at it from start to finish.

Thanks for making me feel old………again. 😎

PS: If this reads like a ramble is because it does.
Blame it on time, not me. It’s all times fault!

#, I feel old…….

If I got a chance for 80 Id better start trying to reverse all the damage I did in my first 58 years. Like my father(RIP) used to say

"If I knew I was gonna live this long Id taken better care of myself"

I look better than Coach too, pretty sure he was already sick, can't remember but I don't think he lived but for 2-3 seasons.

and ironically Ive been told I looked a lot like Woody Harrelson when I was in my late 20s and 30s

If that would happen it could possibly be, knowing what will come in the future and who paved the way for it over the decades, i would have a problem with the time-line. Because i possibly would have died if send back to the past, as some kind of Sarah Connor in male, trying to take out the worst fascists and NWO fetishists of the past trying to prevent the earth and it´s population from the worst megalomaniacs since Hitler, Stalin, Mao etc.

The most evil ultra-rich real "Bond"-villains on their trip to destroy humanity as also friend- and partnership between human beings, the fighters against a self-determined life of the average, hard working and being humans at the highest level earthlings, the inhabitants of this earth.

With my knowledge of today, send back in time to let´s say the 1980´s, i possibly would have been killed trying to prevent mankind of what is coming in 2020, killed while trying to take out he most evil villains of the great game of chess that is played with our world and us as peasants.

But if i died back in let´s say the 1980`s, how on earth could i have been send to the 1980`s from the future in which i don´t exist because i was killed on my rebel trip to save mankimd back in the let´s say 1980`s?

That effing thought is something that smashes my brain, my mind. Slowly but steadily. It seems like we are done, even if time-travels would exist right now (and also for the peasants like us and not only th stinky rich "elites") xD
Cheers

In 76 (America's 200 year old birthday) I was standing before some some monuments which were around 2000? years old from a warrior society.

It is so true that 18 and then 21 years old seemed to take a long time to arrive. If you tell a 5 year old to sit still for 10 minutes it seems like forever to them because it is a greater portion of their short lives than if you told a 50 year old to do the same thing.

At 80 you may have to wake most up after 10 minutes !! hahahh Seems like Nap time is not an option any more once you pass a certain age.

I get your point, that would be wild
I did not look at it that way when writing go back to 20 with todays brain.
I did not think of knowing the future events but of knowledge of how things work, my abilities.
My increased brain power from experience and how I’d use it at 20.

Understand?

Be a world shaker……LOL

Although, remembering the numbers to a lottery or two would not hurt. 😎

PS, mere days to 65 now.
I nap A-LOT!!!!

Maybe I didn't present it well enough but that's definitely how I was, even though Ive had my health stuff here and there these past 9-10 years, but was relatively OK till my father passed after a long illness. My first glimpse though was having gallbladder attacks about 18 months after he passed, one night I thought I was having a heart attack it was so bad. Surgeries don't usually affect me and I recover fairly quickly but this time it hung around for a while. But I'm heading in the right direction till I tried to walk through the garage in the dawn's early light. Ive eliminated most of my vices and if I could get rid of the Tinnitus and hearing loss Id actually be in much better shape than I was years ago.

I think it’s here to stay in all of us.
Amazing how many say they have it.

It’s that time thing again. It’s all times fault.
Getting old sucks!

What really hurts is when my Nana would make me fkn nuts when she said, All we have now is our memories.
Well, # me.
I now understand…….OUCH!!!
